🎪🤡 Nothing says good morning quite like an invitation to the circus.

The question is… who’s willing to join the act? 🎭

🎟️ Opening night: Thursday, October 22.

All performers must reveal their characters, share their poetry, and tag me so I can see who’s stepped into the ring. 🖤

I’ve tagged as many of you as I could, but if I missed you, PLEASE consider yourself personally invited!

Bring your poetry friends. Share the madness. There’s always room for one more under the big top. 🎪

🩸 Enter at your own risk.

Comment below if you’re purchasing a ticket. 🎟️

I can’t wait to see the performances! 🎭

This poem by @spazzlaska sums up my recent thinking. Who gets to gatekeep literature, poetry and the arts? They belong to us all. Don't let anything put you off having a go.

"My Gentle Love
Much like you and I,
Poetry does not have to be perfect to be beautiful.
It need not be wrapped in lilacs
or catchy rhymes and rhythms.
It need only be excruciatingly honest.
Smelling of Ink and Iron."

[Watercolour and acrylic pens. Collage fragments from Vogue magazine.]
