One of my favorite moments from my dive trip to Tampa this Sunday wasn't actually anything to do with fish, but the absolutely stunning sunset, with a huge flock of birds flying together to the song "Clocks" by Coldplay.

It was really special. I turned and said to Melody @spearavida that, "This was better than going to church on a Sunday". It was just such an incredible display of God's creation that it felt spiritual.

I'm so grateful to be able to experience the natural wonders of this world through spearfishing. It's definitely taken me to incredible places to meet incredible people.

Missing Islamorada 😭 when can we go back @spearavida ?!! I was asked this week of a time which inspired me the most and this was the memory I shared. It was just so beautiful and I learnt so much that day about scouting and finding fish with @galacticwatertemple by my side (as we were dragged around over the reef haha!)

Thanks for your mentoring and the amazing memories! Let's dive again soon!!

This is why night time boating is so dangerous, especially at high speeds.
Something that could make all of us safer is for the same governmental body that takes the time to place a sticker on a sunken boat to put a solar powered light on it as well. This solution is simple, inexpensive and could potentially save many lives.

Sunday at the Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge, the Drake Sweet Foundation was honored to sponsor the Top Freediver Award in honor of Drake. And we were happy to provide a Garmin inReach with water proof housing to help promote safety on the water and beneath the surface, to the winner.

As much as we miss Drake and wish he could have been there with us, we felt his presence in so many ways. Through the stories shared by his friends, the laughter, the camaraderie, and the passion this community has for the ocean, we were reminded of how deeply he touched so many lives.

We know Drake would have loved seeing everyone together, celebrating the underwater world he cherished so much. His love for freediving, spearfishing, and the ocean continues to inspire our mission to make this sport safer while preserving the incredible community that surrounds it.

Thank you to the Tampa Bay Spearfishing Club, all the competitors, volunteers, and supporters who continue to honor the spirit of adventure, friendship, and respect for the ocean.
