@wftv_uk held their first festival yesterday - the perfect precursor to International Women's Day. An uplifting programme of thoughtfully curated short films made by members, panel discussions and networking. More than ever, I know this is where I'm supposed to be. Conversations with brilliant women never fails to ignite new fires within. All power to these creative souls, and to all women everywhere striving to make the world a more interesting, beautiful and inclusive place.

Fade to Black… this group of incredible women are the @the_writers_lab UK & Ireland 2022 cohort.

This has been game changing to my craft and writing, thanks to the patience of the founders and teams behind the @the_writers_lab @untamedstories_jr and development producers. Personally I’ve finished this six month programme stronger, braver and surrounded by a supportive community of female writers. Forever grateful. 🙏🏽

So excited what the future holds for all our scripts and comforting to know we have each other’s back in this industry. Plus, I can’t wait to meet you all IRL. ❤️
