ONE WHOLE WEEK OF WRITTEN IN SCENT 🥹🦋🍂

And somehow, in that first week, we’ve already passed 200,000 KU page reads. TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND. 😭💕

This little book has officially become my biggest release yet, finding readers in more than 10 countries, climbing higher on Amazon than I ever imagined, and reaching more people than I could have hoped for in its very first week.

I’m still very much in the “is this actually happening?” stage. 😂

But a release like this is never just one person, so this post is also a giant love letter to the people who helped me bring Written in Scent into the world. My wonderful beta readers, my hype team, my cover artist, my PA, and the incredible bookstores who supported my physical preorder campaign and helped me get signed copies into readers’ hands before release. 🥹📚

My author besties, who have listened to every update, celebrated every tiny milestone and hyped me up endlessly. And, of course, my wife, who is also my editor, proofreader, sounding board and the person who has heard approximately 847 conversations about Rosewood University. 😂🐛

And most importantly, you.

Every preorder, KU page read, paperback order, review, rating, story share, tag, DM and recommendation has contributed to what this first week has become.

Happy one week to Written in Scent. 🐞🦋 Thank you for giving Elodie and her pack the loveliest welcome I could have imagined.

Here’s to everything still to come. 🥂✨

$📚 Book Review 📚 Thank you to @authoralidamirandawolff and @spellsandtomes for my #gifted copy! 💭Book two in the series, it follows on from the ending of book one smoothly. Lyanna is learning more about her powers with water. It's a shame she has to hurt herself to get the means to summon her powers and rage. She needs a new way to do it! Being able to create rain and storms, divert water streams and overall ease water rations would be good. I like Marius in this one too, he has more to his character and I wonder where the story will take us in book three. Cassius and Lyanna's relationship progresses and Tellus is seemingly better for it but time will tell I suppose. I feel another war is coming and we'll see how Lyanna, Cassius, Marius and maybe Nemesis will fare throughout. I also like Nemesis with her tea leaves tellings. 📚Blurb Civil war ravages the kingdom of Tellus, with gods waging battle among mortals as a fledgling revolution struggles to hold fractured lands together. At the center stands Lyanna Tempestas. After successfully aiding the Earth Mother and dealing a monumental blow to the crown in the process, Lyanna finds herself imprisoned by the king she defied. Cut off from her allies and subject to the volatile whims of the goddess she gave everything to save, Lyanna struggles to keep herself alive. Across the continent, Lord Cassius Coronis wages a brutal campaign to free her, entering into an alliance with the King of the Gods with devastating consequences. For Lyanna and Cassius, securing her freedom is only the beginning. As rival revolutionary factions turn on each other and dangerous secrets rise to the surface, they both must decide what they are willing to sacrifice—not just to win the war, but to rebuild the kingdom. Perfect for fans of The Dragon Republic and The Broken Earth Trilogy, Rain Witch is a sweeping romantasy that explores the psychological, political, environmental, and romantic fallout of the choices we make in service of revolution.$
