Pure. Duck. - The Keith Allen Story

Every call has a story.

In this film, Keith Allen takes us back through the history of the PureDuck. From his first duck hunt at X4 in Missouri to the experiences, lessons, and the pursuit of the right sound that shaped the call.

Keith shares what he has learned from a lifetime of chasing ducks and the details he listens for it when it comes to the sounds of a duck. It’s a story built around experience, persistence, and the constant pursuit of getting better

The PureDuck is more than a call. It’s the result of years spent listening, learning, hunting, and refining the sound.

Now the story continues with Collect No. 15.

Available 10.15.26 @ 10 AM CST

9.24.26 marked one year since Fighter girl went to heaven & yesterday, 9.28 we said goodbye to our Brooke, her mama. 💔 She is the first dog I actually remember being in my life. For the last 13 years she’s grown up with us & been there for everything life’s thrown at us. She is the most special dog I’ve ever met. If you got a chance to know her, you are lucky. She is so patient & kind, the best duck dog, companion and mom to her puppies (and us 3 human kids 🥹). Words won’t ever describe how she’s impacted our lives or the things she’s taught us. I am so thankful for the gift of the time we got to spend with her. Praise the Lord she’s no longer in pain and reunited with Fighter. I pray they’re up there living their best lives. Brooke, I hope you’re getting to chase all the ducks (and no geese), have the biggest yeti bed, and are getting all the belly rubs you could ever want. I will miss you forever punkin. ♥️

We said goodbye to Brooke today 💔
I can’t think of one negative thing about her. She was literally perfect in every way. She raised us flawlessly, never missing a single milestone. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body but she could whip other dogs into shape real quick. Babies could crawl all over her and never once did she snap or bark or pose any sort of opposition. In fact, she did us all that way. She was so attentive to human emotions. She knew when you were sad before you knew it and she was right there ready to dry your tears. She was always happy about everything. Never scared of anything, never disliking anything. She was literally perfect. She was selfless in the way she took care of her people. I got the honor orf doing some retriever trials with her and she taught me more than I could have ever dreamed. She was a legendary hunting dog- the picture perfect British lab. She gave us our girl, Fighter. She was an incredible momma to all of her puppies (and us human kids.)
It’s cruel what sin does to a perfect creature. Her body was riddled with cancer but the pain started way before that with arthritis. She never complained but you could tell it was hard for her. Yet only until about a week ago did she stop climbing the stairs to make sure everyone was asleep. She was the perfect companion.
Thankful we could give her a life where her tail was wagging up until she fell asleep for the very last time.
We miss you, sweet girl, but I’m so happy you’re with Jesus and Fighter. Thank you for waiting for me to come home. We’ll see you soon. ❤️

Opening day of dove season is pretty much a holiday in the South. Work gets put on hold, kids get out of school, and family and friends meet up in a dove field to start another hunting season. For a lot of kids, it’s their first hunt and where a lifelong love for it all begins.

Our first RTGC dove hunt had everything that makes opening day hard to beat. Plenty of shooting, a lot of laughs, and a full day spent with good people. Dove season means a little more down here!
