We came to Milan… 🇮🇹🍝 but had a pretty exciting reason for being in Italy!
From Milan, we made our way to Parma to visit Barilla’s headquarters, where we spent two incredible days of meetings, great conversations, lots of pasta, and some exciting ideas!
Let’s just say there might be something fun cooking between @SundaySupper, and @Barilla! 👀❤️
@spenceroberg and I can’t share too much just yet, but we have some exciting news coming in the next few days!
Stay tuned… 🍝🇮🇹 @sundaysupperfoods

10 days. 2 completely different worlds. ✈️🏆🌴

Before we landed in Costa Rica for an executive mindset retreat, we were in Atlanta at an M&A conference where we were honored with an award. Late nights, and heavy lifting across our businesses has its perks...

Going straight from the high-stakes world of deal-making into deep internal reflection (and ziplining through jungles 😅) was intense. But looking back on the entire trip, my biggest takeaway wasn't the trophy or the views—it was the PEOPLE.

✨ The leaders in Atlanta who bring strategic thinking.

✨ The incredible souls in Costa Rica who created space for deep internal growth.

✨ The late-night conversations that reminded us why we chose this path and growth route in the first place.

You can build great systems and win awards, but the humans you surround yourself with will always determine your growth ceiling.

Recharged, aligned, and so grateful for the community in our corner. 🌿❤️

Mamma mia, Burbank 🇮🇹❤️

We sell out of 1 SKU pretty often.
2 SKUs? Happens.
3 SKUs? Now we’re talking.

But today at Whole Foods Burbank… FOUR SKUs sold out. 🤌

Thank you, Burbank. Thank you, @lashanalala . And yes, it really is that good.

Go try Sunday Supper for yourself… and DM us for coupons. 🍝❤️

PASTA FOR THE PEOPLE, SHAKING HANDS. SERVING PASTA Shana is out there shaking hands, kissing babies, petting dogs, feeding people Sunday Supper all over Whole Foods SoPac… and apparently doing a little dancing while she’s at it. 🇮🇹💃🍝

At this point, she’s basically running for office.

Her platform? More pasta. Less nonsense.

Frankly, she has our vote. ❤️🇮🇹

A little pesto. A little amore. A lot of pasta. 🤌

Pesto di Crema. Alfredo Amore. Rigatoni Rossa. Pasta alla Norma.

Four very sexy reasons to visit the frozen aisle.

Find us at Whole Foods Market across SoPac... and come hungry. We’re sampling every week.

Bellissima. Buonissima. Basta. 🍝❤️

Between the travel posts, the morning walks, and the life updates, I get some version of this comment a lot: "Must be nice to just travel all the time... do you ever actually work?" 😅

The short answer? Obsessively, yes.

The long answer? Tropical trips and location agility don't happen by accident. What social media sees is the 10% lifestyle reward.

What it doesn't see is the 90% behind-the-scenes grind:

💻 Deep Work Blocks: Hours spent writing strategy/proposals/deal offers, building any client deliverables, and running daily operations.

📞 The Unseen Calls: Pitching 'prospects' or new partners, onboarding any new clients, and managing our teams.

⛓️ Systems & Hustle: Sprinting to get 2 weeks of work done in 3 days so we can actually step away and head to ATL and Costa Rica without everything falling apart.

We didn't build a self-employed life to dodge hard work—we built it so we could completely control when, where, and why we do it.

Yes, I work. A lot. But doing it on my own terms makes every single hour at this desk worth it. 🥂✨

What’s one big goal you’re working hard toward this week? Drop it below! 👇

Concrete Mama Presents: "Unexpected Family" from Uncuffed.

Family means a lot of different things. It can be the people you grew up with, or the people you chose to keep close. And sometimes you find it somewhere you never went looking.

In this episode, Uncuffed's producers track down long-lost relatives, learn about siblings they never knew they had, and meet family members who seemingly got a second chance at life.

Uncuffed is a podcast and training program from KALW Public Media that teaches people in California prisons to tell their own stories. Every voice you hear is someone directly impacted by the system. Their work in prisons is supported by the California Arts Council, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, independent foundations, and donations from listeners like you.

We say "community" because it's the word people understand. But that's not really what this is.

Community is who shows up to the event. Family is who answers the phone at 2am. Family is who saves you a plate. Who tells you the truth when you don't want to hear it, and who's still there the next morning. Who knows exactly what you came home from, because they came home from it too.

Unincarcerated is family. Chosen, built, earned - the kind you find on the other side of something hard.

That's why this week's episode from Uncuffed is so important. "Unexpected Family" is about exactly this: the people who become your people, in the places you never expected to find them.

If you're reading this, you're already in it. 🖤

Social media makes working with your spouse look like aesthetic coffee shop dates and non-stop teamwork. ☕️✨

The reality?

✈️ Flight delays and working from airport gates.

🚶‍♀️ Walking 15,000 steps across tradeshow floors together.

📸 Snapping candid photos of each other (usually intensely focused on work).

🛌 Collapse-level exhaustion on the bed at the end of a long travel day.

But here’s the real secret to making it work: We are still two completely separate people.

We don't share every single minute. We keep our own distinct morning routines to get our heads right, we schedule check-in meetings instead of talking shop 24/7, and we protect our individual identities outside the business.

Working together isn't about becoming the same person—it’s about knowing when to step in when the other is overwhelmed, and knowing when to switch off "boss mode" and just be husband and wife.

It’s intense, but there’s no one else I’d rather navigate this crazy ride with.

Could you run a business with your partner, or would you drive each other nuts? Tell me below! 👇 Husband and wife entrepreneurs traveling on flights, walking tradeshow floors, and resting after a long workday."
