This is where we really get our hands dirty.

Our substrate starts with coco coir and vermiculite sourced from our friends at @cultivate_supply . We hydrate and mix everything in house, bag it up, and pasteurize every batch above 140°F for three hours.

This is where the real labor comes into play, and probably the closest we get to farming.

Over the last five years, we’ve honed our substrate process into something that gives us consistency in our own grows. Now we’re ready to share it with you.

Grow with us.

Available at our supply shop. Link in bio.

For the last six years, we’ve been dialing in our grow supplies. Now we’re taking what we’ve learned and making the same clean, reliable inputs we use in our own cultivation available to home growers and hobbyists.

Our grain starts with locally sourced Colorado oats from @rootshootmalting . From there, our in-house grain tech @mystickitchenco handles hydration and sterilization, dialing in each bag so it’s ready for inoculation when it gets to you.

Our goal is to take some of the guesswork out of the process and give you a better chance at successfully growing your own mushrooms.

You can find all of our supplies including our 3lb sterilized bag of oats on our new website:

You’re 40 today! You freaking made it! All of the adventures, shenanigans, laughs and thrills have brought you here. The way you chose to celebrate the turn of this new decade with early alpine hikes, barrel rolls and swoops as you returned to the base of the 10 mile range, afternoons of biking and spending time solo, with friends, and with Dezi and me speaks to what you hold close to your heart. You are so loved by so many. Dezi and I are endlessly lucky to call you home. Happy Birthday my love! 🎂

Yesterday was @spenceswoops 39th Birthday and it couldn’t have been any better of a birthday celebration for him! 🥳 Zero expectations with no plans was his only request. Ended up being a banger of a request too! We did sooo much this way! Getting outside & scrambling with @adventuresofkels_diy and @the_william_detwiler, grabbing pizza and Vermont beer at our favorite pizza spot in Louisville with one of Spence’s best friends @slacklhighning, and finishing the day with a bike ride and one wheel ride with our little Dezi before crashing on the couch after watching Wolfs. It’s an honor to celebrate with you 4 years in a row - I love you & I’m happy you’re here living this life near and with me ♥️🥰

We’ve been having so much fun with our new furry family member lately, especially the last few days! She’s been showing off her extra silly & rambunctious side as well as her super chill catdog like features. This weekend she got to go to Grandma’s house and boy oh boy has she been enjoying it! Someday I’ll post about losing my darling German shepherd, Aspen, but for now I just want to celebrate this little rescue we’ve come to adore.

Loved this photo of these 3 cuties way too much to not give it its own post. Just look at them! 3 humans who’s communication through challenges has blown me away and inspired me to be more open myself. Hardships always arise, and I am sitting in comfort today knowing that I could talk to these 3 about almost anything and be met with love in the end. Love you guys!

First time up on the Flatirons this season and I had the joy of returning to the 2nd and climbing a new (to me) one called Sunset! I really enjoy this as a small group activity or just with one other person. The physical activity, the scenery, and the convos are all perfection on a lovely summer day 🤩
