For music, we have a hell of a lineup, jam packed with the best the Colorado underground scene has to offer.

In the main room we have @slobgnarly.music, @sl33pybeats, @milkwubs, @connectioncollectiveltd killers @grvado and @synthxny, and the Dub Den Showcase presented by @chefwamp, @fauhxmusic, and @whiskerzmusic.

In the lounge we have Collective Unity 006 featuring @alpineundrgrnd, @lowfrequencyoperations represented by @battlenalysis_music and @weary.dub, @love_land_sound represented by @badbwoybmc and @wadadadubz, and Dub Den represented by @cptn.tripz and @spicy.ot.

Denver based visual artist Cameron Young, better known as C.A.M., has been building his name in the VJ scene over the past two years. With a background in Digital Arts and Sciences, he uses TouchDesigner to create audio reactive visuals that move with the highs, mids, and lows of the music. His work has been featured at @cervantesmasterpiece, @larimerlounge, @theblackbox5280, @dairyblock, @townhallcollaborative, @missionballroom, and @voidstudiosusa, alongside collectives such as @dubdenrecords, @moonlight_assembly, and @matriarchmusicco. We’re stoked to have C.A.M. back at @theblackbox5280, bringing his visuals to the room once again. Check out more of his work at @youngcam_art

Elias Lewin-Koh is a Denver based artist who’s been bringing her creativity into the Colorado bass scene in a bunch of different ways. She’s spent the last four years creating live visuals at spots like @cervantesmasterpiece and @theblackbox5280, working with crews including @dubdenrecords, @matriarchmusicco, and @feralcreatives.ko. She’s also a co-founder of @wubzyland, helping put together a festival centered around music, art, and community. More recently, she’s been stepping behind the decks and adding DJing to her growing list of creative outlets to share her original productions

Mountain collective @connectioncollectiveltd has been holding it down for years now in Winter Park and beyond, always pushing sound and community in the most scenic places. Founded by @frankiesconnection, aka @connected_dreams_music, he’s been a big supporter of the Den since the beginning. We’re sad he can’t make it out for this one, but don’t worry, he enlisted the help of some killers in @slobgnarly.music, @grvado, and @synthxny to hold down the mountain sound for our Dub Den 2 Year Anniversary Tour stop at @theblackbox5280 tomorrow, Thursday, October 8th.

Driving his little truck down the mountain, CJ Stohr, aka @slobgnarly.music, is no stranger to @theblackbox5280, ready to rip some originals on the main stage. Emphasizing the connection between sound and nature through his music, he’s always striving to fully showcase what inspires him. Taking his music across the state, he’s been a staple at the @connectioncollectiveltd full moon parties in Winter Park while also making an appearance at @badgermusicfestival and countless appearances at @theblackbox5280. Recently releasing his second album, titled “Still,” he also put out a track last week on our Dubs From The Den Vol. 7 Compilation, titled “Gnarchitecture,” that beautifully displays his range and the different sonic palettes he finds himself frequenting. When he’s not glued to his computer, catch him out enjoying all the mountains have to offer, whether it’s ripping his bike, going for a hike, or fly fishing in the vast streams of colorful Colorado.

Colorado native Chase Graves, better known as @grvado, has been building his sound for eight years behind the decks and five years in the studio. His sets move between deep, heavy, and melodic territory, with a focus on creating an immersive experience and letting the music speak for itself. He’s also become a familiar face behind the sound systems at events like the @connectioncollectiveltd Full Moon Parties, and recently played the unofficial Camp Alderwild afters with @partysoldierproductions. With a growing catalog of originals and plenty more in the works, there’s a lot to dig into from @grvado. Check out his latest self releases, “Endeavored” and “Elk

Stoked to have two killers in @sl33pybeats and @milkwubs joining us at @theblackbox5280 this Thursday October 8th for the Dub Den 2 Year Anniversary Tour

Originally from Jackson, Wyoming, currently repping Boulder, Colorado, John Garrett, aka @sl33pybeats, might always be tired, but he’s certainly been waking up the underground scene. With 5 years of production experience and 2 years behind the decks, he has been honing in a heavy sound that is far from low energy. Dropping his tune, “Don’t Stop,” on @gooddub.bmr last year as well as quite a few self releases, his most recent track, “Take Dat,” just came out on our Dubs From The Den Vol. 7 compilation and is a certified banger. When he’s not busy taking naps, he’s making serious noise across Colorado, bringing his selections to iconic stages like @theblackbox5280, @foxtheatreco, and @basselevation Wookstock, sharing the bill with legends like @oliverse, @danklyfrank, and @chmuramusic. Don’t sleep on the sleepy guy.

@milkwubs
Evergreen’s Mack Allen, better known as @milkwubs, has been producing for five years, continuing to build out his own lane within the Colorado underground scene. Making his way down to Orlando earlier this year for a show with @shaka.culture, he brings a unique approach to his sets, playing a diverse range of originals with his own milky flair. As his release catalog continues to grow with his recent self release “Aimless,” his unreleased catalog is even deeper, featuring tons of lactose-filled goodies. Making his Dub Den debut last year, we’re stoked to have the milk man back for his second show with us.

Collective Unity is a series designed to bring together the collectives holding down the Colorado underground scene and beyond. Through collaboration, anything is possible. When collectives unite, we combine our strengths to continue building the underground scene that we all love so dearly.

@alpineundrgrnd bros @bodhii_dj and @smooth_yeti are gracing us with just a hint of why they have been popping off lately. The Avon, Colorado boys, Rocky and Holden, are incredibly talented DJs with a deep knowledge of the underground. Meeting in skydiving school back in 2019, they are avid mountain shredders in the winter, while in the summer, they are busy planning and curating festival spaces for artists to be able to best express themselves. Building quite the resume this year, they worked at @building.man.festival, @apogaea, @riahtfest, @badgermusicfestival, creating immersive electronic music experiences, providing sound, lights, and DJ equipment across the Vail Valley, Colorado and beyond. Later this month, you can catch them teaming up with @sound.dunes.production to open a portal out in Green River, Utah at Jenkstar Ranch for Electric Desert Invasion.

@lowfrequencyoperations is a Western Colorado based collective and not for profit label focused on underground bass music and sound system culture, building community around both. Since getting started in 2021, they’ve continued growing their roster, hosting events, and putting out music from artists across the Four Corners region and beyond. 100% of the royalties and proceeds generated by each release go directly back to the artists. The team handles the artwork, distribution, and promotion, giving artists a low stress way to put music out while keeping their focus on creating. Their roster and sound are constantly evolving, with plenty of release

@synesthesiafest 2026... fin 🎬

If I could describe the way I perceive the overall energy/essence of this sacred space after years & different locations in just one word, it would have to be; magical. No doubt, I would argue magic & miracles are everywhere all the time, nonetheless, what I emphasize is this is a magical event, through so many hard-working individuals, it consciously channels that magic into a beautiful culmination of human creativity. A colorful, vibrant Music & Arts Festival formed from many streams of personal & collective expressions where magic makes way for new magic to come forth & remind us that regardless of what darkness & trials are happening in the world, life is worth celebrating & fuels us to keep pushing for more goodness to be realized.

This year, I got to further my participation in what I was already involved with as well as learn a few new avenues of helping the team make it come alive. All year, the art & production teams got together periodically to put in hours toward making this festival as best as it possibly could be for everyone. We added so many new art pieces designed by our amazing leader, Emily Wingert who tells us busy bees what she sees & help bring her vision out. I got to run lights for some of my favorite acts & did that for a good chunk of the weekend, I got to share my own expression & unique musical journey on a mean rig at perfect time of the day for what I bring, I got to watch my lovely lady play her first set at the silent disco & she absolutely blew my mind with such a sick set as well as seeing many come up to compliment her DJing included in those was a headliner; Luke Petruzzi who took the time to show how much they enjoyed her playing 🥲 I got to practice & present progress of my crafts aside from music production & DJing by flowing with the dragonstaff & jamming the handpan for Choom. As always, it was overall nothing short of blissful to create more memories with so many loved ones, as well as deepening our bonds, sharing laughs/stories, & refreshing friendship with so many others.
