★★★★☆ — The Hobbit 🐉🍃✨

I finally took my first proper trip to Middle-earth and now I understand why people have loved this story for generations.

It felt like being told an old adventure story beside a fireplace, cozy and whimsical one minute, then suddenly there are goblins, giant spiders, riddles in the dark and an absolutely unreasonable amount of dragon treasure. 😂

But Bilbo was easily my favorite part. Watching this little homebody who just wants his food, his books, and the comfort of his hobbit-hole slowly discover how brave and clever he actually is?? I loved him. 🥹

Not quite a five-star read for me, but I absolutely understand why it’s a classic.

Would you rather live peacefully in the Shire or leave on an adventure?👀🍃
