On Friday October 30th we invite Spiral Generator to The Compound. We will present a soft landing for this super natural super group to unravel us all into the weekend.

Opening up the floor will be a live set by Sema. Through a mix of live hardware, incorporating deep sounds of industrial and esoteric noise, with a lowly groove to welcome us into the night for a heavy weighted momentum to endure.

Followed by Starship Truth (RVA), a force of the underground and a heady selector, will join us and carry us onwards. Starship Truth as individual always has a presence on the dance floor, but behind the decks they’ll be spinning an eclectic set of their most favored vinyl. We are honored to invite them to The Compound. Starship Truth is known for it’s work on Richmonds WRIR radio show and supporting their scene tenfold.

Next up, we have one of Baltimores favorite club producers and DJs - Tromac. Drawing influence from both Go-go and Baltimore Club music, Tromac will take us to many planes while sustaining the beat, bound to get our bodies in movement. It’s always a party when Tromac is in the room. We can count on him to power up the floor to get us into gear for what’s to come with Spiral Generator.

30,000 AD, T. Wan, Pamela_and their sons, MIRA MIRA, Kiernan Laveaux, and Rage.inald are Spiral Generator. Known for their experimental dance music band and revolutionary output towards the machine, we will receive the 3 hour transmission incorporating an entanglement of sounds - from live instruments and bouncing innovations, vinyl, and hardware. This hybrid will generate a lot as it should, so don’t miss this. Spiral Generator is a treat but we are certainly excited to see what tricks they have up their sleeve. We can’t say too much, as this is surely something you will need to see and experience for yourselves.

👁️💚⚡️

Some (but far from all) highlights from @zap.outdoorz including my first (but probably not last) puppet. Still feeling inspired by everything surrounding the magical long weekend at camp.

Ty to Carlie, Jake, and Joyce for trusting me with check in duties, which was also such a fun way to meet so many amazing new friends 💚

Spiral Generator (@spiralgenerator) first started as a passion project by infinityBC aka 30,000AD and Pamela_ and her sons as a completely live performance at Chaos Computer in 2023 for fundraising for the ATL forest. The Full SG experience has since expanded to include unmatchable freak on the 1s and 2s, Kiernan Laveaux, Nuyorican Multi instrumentalist MIRA MIRA, polyrhythmic scientist T. MF Wan, and Brooklyn’s most emo turntablist, Rage.inald. Experiential experimentation to tightly knit grooves. Bask in the provocative and emotional sounds. Nostalgic in free jazz turntablism, instrumentation and poetry. Futuristic in sequencing, rhythm section ingenuity, nestled in a genre defying ethos.

We shed our surroundings amidst these times of turmoil like a cocooned caterpillar. This unrest has birthed a crew from the cacophonous Mind Dimension straight out of the mud of a homogenized dj culture where club goers want Berghain more than they want truly subversive Techno. The sequencers are sequencing. The Drum machines are drumming, the wheels of steel are turning, the horns are horny. The tapes are Echoing, The hybrid is hybriding. We are elated to present an alternative of this dj craft, please TAP IN.

Summer flies by and we set out to capture a little more magic at the tail end of it. We’ve got a stacked and eclectic line up of individualistic pioneers between PA and ny. The pier will host a legend and shaper of the philly club sound DJ Sega, a live performance by the maximalist raw electronic percussionist Gloorp, and the DJ/Live hybrid mega ensemble of NY-Pittsburgh based musicians SPIRAL GENERATOR. Opening duties by yours truly.

FOUR YEARS! This past weekend, we celebrated four years of Bounce House, our off-the-books warehouse party, our DIY paradise, our fervent die-hard project of manifesting our vision of the rave. The past year has taken us on some twists and turns, many sweet ones and some quite difficult, some that give momentum and some that drain it. But every night-into-morning of watching the magic unfold in our scuzzy lair serves to bring us home, and brings into focus the true miracles of music, friendship, community, faith, and the fruits of the dogged and dirty labor of making this happen. If you practice it with intention and are attentive, the rave breaks you open and transforms you. We are proud and grateful to ride this groove; together; with you.

Every year that we’ve come to this point, we have shared unbearably sappy and verbose diatribes or belabored biographies of the bounce-business to date. We’ll spare you some of the melodrama this time around, but we are sharing a rare public glimpse into the past season, with a collection of our flyers. All photos included are from the anniversary party. All graphic design by @furtive.sasha

Lastly, we do want to impress upon you our invocation of this project’s preciousness:

Our days on earth are numbered, our lives are precious and fleeting. We have invested a great deal into Bounce House over the years (sweat and tears, countless days and nights working, lost sleep, injuries both physical and moral, extraordinary financial outlays) because it is truly a miracle to be able to translate our vision into such a magical and transformative shared experience. Every time we take the ride through the night together, it affirms the preciousness of the grand adventure of life, and the truly miraculous nature of the container we have built and continue to experience together.

DO THE 🌀 on s/c and YouTube @lotradio. It’s such a pleasure to contribute to the outer abyss of expression with so many instruments and talented souls. Though this two hour recording is a redacted version of the true Full Spiral Generator Experience , which also includes 3 more of the mystic ogs, @tiffwanee , @30000ad , and KL. we still forge a journey through the extraterrestrial reaches of sound with methods from the ancient ways merged with technology of the present in this messy alchemy that mirrors the granduer of humanity and it’s perfect imperfection.

It became all so much sweeter as a warm up to when we all came together to absolutely detonate the rave of the mf year, Neap Tide! On that note they are still figuring out funds to pay tickets and stolen gear from 🐷. They are beyond happy with any support by any means as diy is getting harder and harder in this police state. All funds Venmo to @zenpartymix 💛

In the beginning…. There were two generators. This Music was written on the day of this recording that took place at the revered home of DIY for a brief beautiful moment in NYC… at Chaos Computer… for a benefit planned for Atlanta’s Forest Defenders on January 18th 2023…. Which abruptly became a memorial for Tortuguita, whose life was stolen on this day as they sat cross legged in the lap of the Atlanta forest they so loved. We Share this music in tribute to them and to LIFE.

100 tape run! Available at the ALL NIGHT SG performance this Sunday @bossanovacivicclub and 🔜 on Bandcamp. All proceeds for this release will go to @atlsolfund

The end is nigh. As the final resistance of the path of destruction we choose to express ourselves. 30,000 AD, T. Wan, Pamela_and their sons, MIRA MIRA, Kiernan Laveaux, and Rage.inald are Spirial Generator. U may remember them from the rave in rockaway they crushed like a wrecking ball or the bounce warehouse that was obliterated and then reassembled with telekinesis in Philly.

With an extendo clip of traxs intermarried with live instruments, chaotic innovations, & extreme kineticism in the dance, they’re back as a fully assembled group to bring about an uproar of depth to open minds in a crumbling world.

Join us for a RARE reunion at Bossa Nova Civic Club Sunday march 16 from 10 pm Till The lights turn on. Augment your reality to your heart’s content. YOU’RE WELCOME.
