What a day yesterday. 💜

Thank you, Monroe, for showing up to the Art Block Pop-Up! We loved being the check-in spot for such an incredible day full of local vendors, familiar faces, new friends, and so much community love on East Franklin Street.

This is exactly why we love being part of downtown Monroe. Seeing this town come together to support local artists and small businesses never gets old.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out, shopped, and made yesterday so special.

Mark your calendars: Our next Art Block Pop-Up will be a Christmas Market on November 21st!

We love a weekend trip to the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market. Honestly, Charlotte has one of the best farmers markets around. So much local produce, seasonal organic options, fresh herbs, plants, and flower stands that make it way too easy to leave with more than you planned.

We try to come at least once a month to stock up, support local vendors, and make a morning out of it. If you’re looking for a beautiful bouquet or porch plants, this is the place.

Our forever go-to stops:
• KaiOken for the sauerkraut
• Rolling Wood Farms for the bratwurst
• And today my sister-in-law was out there selling her tie-dye pieces with @splattercreative — go give her a follow 💛

Save this for your next weekend plan:
✔️ Open year-round
✔️ Best selection early in the morning
✔️ Tons of local NC vendors
✔️ Easy parking
✔️ Great spot to support small businesses and eat seasonally

Such an easy, fun Charlotte outing. We’ll keep coming back.

Not gonna lie, most of this phase felt awkward. Half grown-out color, random grays, no real ‘style’, just commitment.

I kept thinking it would look better sooner. It didn’t. But somewhere in the middle of not loving it, I stopped obsessing over fixing it. If you’re growing your color out, just know:
it’s not a glow-up the whole way through. It’s a long in-between.

This was 10 months in. I ended up cutting it all off a few months later, not out of frustration, just was ready for something different.

Only advice I have: don’t quit just because you don’t like how it looks right now.
