Magical glow of the past couple of evenings feels like a series of last kisses before the summer puts itself to sleep. Simultaneously living in and mourning for every moment and glitter of sun that I get. August, what a delicious and desperate month.

October, portal month of my coming-to, my go-around, my sunshine on dark womb, filled to the brim, with late season flowers and pictures of the dead, celebration and sorrow hands held, worries in my heart soothed by spirit-presence, by nature medicine again and again, by hugging close this walnut shell of a body, and maybe tasting something sweet.

Finding things that soothe, gravitating towards shared resonance, slower slow slowed down pace. For anxiety, I’m right here. For overwhelm, here I am. For stress, I’ll move slow. Everything a prayer these days, all days. To everything a sacred bow. To you, hopefully shared laughter and some warm sense between. To you, peace.

Did we not come into this world in grief? I will not harden, I will not harden. Even if it means I work til the ends of my days as an alchemist, I will. The body a lightning rod, I disperse my energy safely. And who circles back, who joins the call? Who sits in stillness and doesn’t brag? Who bows in great coalescence? Who then moves swiftly like swallows, all together now?
