We 🤍 Spoon and Stable!

Everything was super delish! We sat at the chef’s table and it was so fun watching everything come together.

I try fries everywhere I go, so I take my fries very seriously. Compared to the ones we had at Bellecour, these were so much better, and I love the fries at Bellecour! We’ll definitely be back 🤤

Spoon and Stable is an upscale New American restaurant in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota that has been around for 12 years and is a staple in the area! Last night, we had my pre-birthday celebration with some close friends and truly enjoyed the experience! The cocktail program is impressive here and I loved their version of a French 75. Everything we ate was tasty especially the pork chop, fries, & halibut! I definitely recommend revisiting or going to this memorable spot for your first time and you’ll see how impressive the space, ambiance, food & drinks are! 🥂

We are adamant that Minnesota’s culinary scene is as special as it is because of something that feels truer here than in most states: we leave, gain great experience in our second homes, and then we return.

Pasta is one of the clearest examples. Few staples lend themselves so naturally to cultural interpretation, and Minnesota has chefs pulling from an incredible range of places, traditions and experiences. Much of that perspective was sharpened elsewhere before being brought home.

The Twin Cities pasta scene is up there with the best metros nationally, and its greatest strength is the subtle variety. As the great Tony Bourdain once said: “I’m very protective of the pastas that make me happy” - over the past year, these are the restaurants/dishes that made that case for us🍝
