10 years Airplane_spotter_ams!!! And?! Celebrating my birthday! 🎂

A magical day it is! Today I celebrated my 26th birthday, but most important; I also celebrated 10 years of Airplane_spotter_ams this month! Back in 2016 I started this account for fun to share photos with my first real camera!

In the years which followed, I upgraded my camera gear multiple times, each time to make my shots better and with higher quality!

In the last 10 years I made a lot of memories, some of them I will share below:
- Towing Corendon B747 to the Hotel.
- Farewell KLM fokker 70.
- Spotting strips to LHR/ZRH/FRA/CDG and visiting the US with JFK/SEA and LAX!
- Farewell KLM passenger B747’s
- Visiting the Boeing factory in Everett.

I could proceed with many more moments, but simply want to thank you all for your support the past years, especially the ones who supported me from the start! @manchester_aviation1107 @max.aviation @spotterholland @donnieandthejets

June is Pride Month. A time to celebrate being who you are, but also to remember why Pride still matters. For many people around the world, being themselves can still come with rejection, discrimination, or fear. Pride is a reminder of those who fought for acceptance, those who were lost because of hate, and those who continue to struggle simply for loving who they love or being who they are.

Aviation has always been about connecting people. Every day, airplanes bring together people from every corner of the world. In the sky, what unites us is far greater than what divides us. That is why this meaningful tribute from Lufthansa resonates so strongly. A reminder that diversity makes our world richer, our communities stronger, and our journeys more meaningful.

Everyone deserves the freedom to be themselves. Love will always travel further than hate.

Happy Pride Month to you all 🏳️‍🌈

Lady Luck and her army of men! 🍀 ✨
This is quite the rare crew composition for us, more men than women. Nevertheless, I don’t think I need to explain who was in charge during this round trip to London yesterday 😜

If in 2019 (year the picture was taken), you would tell me in 6 years I would move to The Netherlands, work for Transavia and fly that exact same plane I would say you’re nuts. Love how life changes ✈️ 🇳🇱
