Chicken of the Woods Tacos!
🌮
With all the fixings. These were super yummy! Best enjoyed in the company of loved ones 😊

I used:

•Chicken of the Woods mushrooms from @freshtakefarm (sautéed with garlic scape ghee, onion, garlic, heirloom tomato, chili powder, s&p)

•Frisée & Radish Sprouts from @almostafarms

•Probiotic Sour Cream from @goodculture

•Salsa Verde -tomatillos, poblano, & serrano from @theallegedfarm

•Almond flour tortillas from @siete

•Organic shredded cheese, lime, avocado, cilantro
🌿
*For a tasty Salsa Verde broil your tomatillos + peppers of your liking for 5 minutes on each side.

*While broiling, add 1/2 sweet white onion, 1/4 cup of cilantro, and the juice of 1 lime to a food processor or high speed blender (you can also finely chop by hand). Add salt and pepper.

*Allow broiled veggies to cool slightly before adding to the food processor or blender.

*Pulse and then turn either machine “on” for a few seconds at a time to get all the ingredients well incorporated with each other.

*Refrigerate for an hour or so before serving.

👅💚🤤

😋 We love this CBD Truffle Recipe by @sproutedinlove! It highlights the versatility of our CBD powder and pairs it with whole food ingredients for a snack that is delicious, nutritionally dense, and good for your wellness routine!

REPOST
Dark chocolate CBD infused truffles I made yesterday (just a few out of the 150+). An insider’s perspective... 🤤

⭐️Raw
💫Vegan
✨No refined sugar
💫Low glycemic
🌟Whole food ingredients

🍫I made the chocolate from coconut oil, raw agave nectar, raw cacao powder, vanilla powder, and @uncannywellness CBD. I source the raw cacao and all of my nuts/seeds from @terrasoul

💜Some were stuffed with pomegranate arils, sprouted buckwheat, + sprouted pumpkin seeds, while others I swapped the pomegranate arils for an almond butter stuffed raspberry.

The best way to enjoy this beautiful life is to treat yourself and indulge in some of the finer things sometimes. Do you agree?! 😋

Thinking back to a special cup last year shared with a dear friend, sipping in the powerful transitional, healing, liminal, raw and tender moment of time with the love of her sweet girl! 🐶 Sharing cacao together is such a gift that can shift so much, our hearts crack open in a different way when we’re speaking from the heart and witnessing the light shine from each other’s eyes. We hope you’ll join us Fridays 8am PT ✨🤍 zoom info in the inboxes of all those who have their cacao.

💜Hi IG Fam!!
•
It’s been a while!

For any of my friends who don’t know, I’ve been taking a break from my food sharing to focus on my mental health. 🧠💆🏻‍♀️🙌🏽
•
Just popping on your feed to say hello while reminisce on this gorgeous raw vegan cheesecake we all indulged in last November at @ericastanzioneyoga ‘s @arrowparkny Yoga Retreat!
•
•
💫My desire to share over the past few months has been minimal, but I’m starting to feel the magic inside my heart tingle and I’m excited to reconnect with all of you in a deeper way soon.🤍

🌱🅖🅡🅞🅦🅣🅗

The @gardentowerproject has become so abundant over the past few weeks.

Taking on the project has really showed me so much about myself + the human experience.

My favorite take away is that when given the proper environment + care plants flourish!

The amount of care and attention is actually pretty minimal. Just some water, sunshine, + plant food (when vermicomposting is not available in the moment).

This made me think about people. For us to grow + heal there are basic requirements that need to be met very similar to plants.

If we create an environment conducive to our personal needs + meet our basic human needs (food, water, shelter) we have put ourselves in the optimal position to thrive.

This has been resonating with me deeply on many levels as I’ve taken a lot of time this past year to create a self care regime.

With consistency, I’ve seen tremendous healing manifest in my physical body and with my mental wellness.

It wasn’t even entirely “hard”. It really just came back to being consistent day to day, week to week, and month to month.

As time goes on I can only imagine how incredible I’ll be feeling a year from now.

What are your favorite self care routines or regimes that contribute to your growth + healing?

I would love to hear from you!
