We were lucky enough to go to @sproutsofbristol Weird and Wacky plant show on Saturday hosted by @mr_plantgeek

We learnt about plants from all round the world, tasted miracle berries which hijack your taste receptors so that sour foods taste sweet, and met some green fingered folk!

Sprouts are doing events like this all their time so be sure to follow them to find out when you and your partner can go learn about mad world of plants!

Insane hearing Michael share so much insight in such a short space of time so be sure to follow him too! 🌹🌻🌱

I’m SO looking forward to being part of the Autumn Makers Market at @willwayyard this weekend! 🧡

I’ll be bringing a selection of handmade ceramics from my Cotswolds studio, including my autumn pumpkins, magical fairy houses, match pots, mugs and lots of other little treasures.

If you’re looking for something a little different for your home, a special gift, or simply fancy a lovely afternoon browsing independent makers, come along and say hello. 🥰

🍁 Saturday 24th October
🕛 12pm–5pm
📍 Willway Yard, Bristol, BS3 4AZ
🎟️ Free entry

There’ll be independent local makers, shops, open studios, food, drink and a wonderful creative atmosphere.

I’d love to see some familiar faces — and meet some new ones too! ❤️

Nice times in Bristol this October! Come along, say hi! Learn some, craft some! 🍄🍂

✨Firstly, this Saturday 10th, I’m going to have a stall and run a wee foraging taster session at a Harvest Festival in BS4, joining an incredible bunch of creatives brought together by @thesetwohandsuk . Stalls, workshops and demos running from 10-4, featuring silversmiths, weavers, printmakers, natural ink-makers, textile artists and more! I’ll share more on this soon!

✨Next up, Bristol Fungi Day on Sunday 18th, organised by @uobmycosoc ! I’ll have a stall, be facilitating some experimenting around fungi dyes, inks and pigments…

✨Then the following weekend I’ll be at @sproutsofbristol for their Spooky Makers market, and facilitating a workshop introducing medicinal and edible fungi!

🌿 SAME FAIR. NEW NAME. AN EXCITING FUTURE. 🌸

The Bristol Rare Plants & Orchid Fair is now the Bristol Specialist Plant & Orchid Fair.

Since its beginning in 2024, the fair has brought together specialist orchids and an extraordinary range of unusual indoor and outdoor plants. That is not changing; it’s expanding.

Our new name gives the fair a clearer identity of its own and better reflects what has always made it special: knowledgeable independent growers, horticulturally interesting plants and the opportunity to discover species and cultivars rarely - if ever - encountered in conventional garden centres.

We remain proudly independent, with the same commitment to creating a friendly, accessible and horticulturally serious event for experienced collectors, new growers and everyone curious about the wider world of plants. It is run by a mother-and-son team, Dino (myself) and Stela. We are not affiliated with nor funded by any other plant fair or show.

The Bristol Specialist Plant & Orchid Fair will return in spring and autumn 2027, with dates to be announced soon.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us since 2024. We are enormously excited about the next chapter.

Follow @specialistplantfairs for dates, exhibitors and announcements.

specialistplantfairs.co.uk - coming soon.
