AMBER this extraordinary was worth risking a soaking for… apparently! 😂🌊

One of the most breathtaking Baltic amber pieces I have ever added to my collection — incredibly rare dark green amber, alive with spectacular golden crystal-like inclusions that seem to float inside the stone.

And that sculptural sterling silver and gold-plated setting… ❤️ This really is wearable art, and one of those pieces photographs can never quite do justice.

Would YOU have gone after them?! 😂

Limited offer 20% OFF for this amazing pendant - in our Etsy shop - link in BIO.

Thank you @spwmainline and @deb_mccabe for inviting me to talk about public speaking📣 I love the idea of a powerful group of women all coming together to learn and grow. This women helping women mentoring series is just one of the many ways @spwmainline is empowering women to expand their knowledge and I’m so thankful to be part of it😊

When I look at this calendar, I don’t just see dates…I see the woman who pulled me aside after the last keynote. The team that stayed an extra hour to keep talking. The moments that remind me why I do this work. I’m ready!

Yesterday with the Society of Professional Women was such a refreshing experience. I was asked a question I have never before been asked: How has being a caretaker for my 104-year-old mother shaped the way I show up in the world today? 💛

As we close out Women’s History Month, I’m reminded of the many hats we wear — wife, caretaker, mother, teacher, leader — and the incredible women whose shoulders we stand on. Let’s take a moment to honor not only ourselves, but the legacy of those who paved the way.

Thank you to the Society of Professional Women for the opportunity to reflect intentionally, share space, and connect with such inspiring women. ✨

Some days stay with you.
Today will be one of them.

At today’s Society for Professional Women (SPW) luncheon, there was something about that room.

Maybe it was the way Vibha Agrawal, Exec Director of SPW, welcomed us in her warm, direct, and real way.
Or watching in real life support happen up as the Foundation for Delaware County awarded a grant to Nonprofit SpeakUp.
Or hearing Main Line Health share how they’re investing in women’s health, and as a local woman, that meant something.

And then Ms. Abbott spoke. No big performance, just her truth.

She talked about believing in people before they believe in themselves, and the ripple effect that can have on a child, a family, a community.

“If we don’t believe in our kids, who will?”

Immediate chills…we all felt it land. She reminded us not to compromise our values, and that as you grow, the encouragement has to come from within.

And one line I’ll be taking with me: “Speak in complete sentences.”

Grateful to have been in that room.

Today at Philadelphia Country Club, The Main Line Chamber of Commerce
& The Society of Professional Women, SPW hosted the final signature event of 2025, our annual Gold Leaf Celebration honoring women leaders whose impact strengthens our region & inspires us all. At the heart of it was our 2025 Women in Leadership Award honoree, Dr. Rhea Fernandes of Devereux, whose words moved everyone in the room.

Chamber President & CEO Bernard Dagenais welcomed the audience. He underscored the Chamber's commitment to fostering leadership & talent, today & for the future. James Kelly, Sales Director at Independence Blue Cross, highlighted IBX’s dedication to preparing the next generation of leaders.

Vice President of Community Impact for the Chamber & Executive Director of SPW, Vibha Agrawal, shared inspiring remarks on the Gold Leaf Scholarship & a video recap of highlights from the past year of SPW events. Rahwa Teklai, Private Bank Market Leader of Eastern PA/Hudson Valley at Key Private Bank, highlighted the bank’s support for women leaders before introducing our honoree, Rhea Fernandes.

The highlight of the afternoon was hearing from Rhea herself. As Executive Vice President & COO of Devereux, she carries forward a mission rooted in compassion, excellence, & the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to unlock their full potential. She honored the Devereux team members, uplifted frontline staff, & celebrated the vision of founder Helena Devereux. Her words on the ASCEND program, a bold investment in education, equity, & career development, showed how real leadership transforms lives. She told attendees, to "keep being catalysts & champions - advancing people's lives & building a strong community".

Thank you to our sponsors highlighted in our sponsor collage. Special thanks to Devereux & the Devereux Daisy Shop for the beautiful floral centerpieces that connected so meaningfully to today’s celebration.

To our sponsors, partners, attendees, past winners, Chamber members, & SPW community, thank you. To Rhea, thank you for showing what leadership looks like when it is rooted in purpose & a belief in the potential of others. We are honored to celebrate you.✨

Last night was truly inspiring at the Society of Professional Women event, where we dove into Victoria Boston's best-selling book "3 Slow Nickels: Reflections on Growing Up, Showing Up, and Not Giving Up." Her insights are a powerful reminder for those on the fast track to take a moment to grow in wisdom. I was honored to be one of the sponsors for this incredible gathering. Let's keep striving for growth, understanding, and resilience!

Today, the Kinney Center team had the pleasure of attending The Main Line Chamber of Commerce Society of Professional Women’s Trademark Luncheon. We were thrilled to connect with the incredible SPW community and share our new non-credit neurodiversity courses that support professionals in building more inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming spaces.

We also had the privilege of hearing from keynote speaker Victoria Boston, who highlighted her inspiring book "3 Slow Nickels: Reflections on Growing Up, Showing Up, and Not Giving Up." Victoria shared her journey from humble beginnings to becoming a corporate leader, offering a powerful message of resilience, authenticity, and determination.

We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in such an uplifting and motivating event, proudly supported by Saint Joseph’s University as the Education Sponsor.
