✨ HUNKY JESUS HAS RISEN… DOWN UNDER! ✨

The Sisters donned their habits and ventured forth to join the gathered faithful at Queer Screen for the Australian premiere of Hunky Jesus.

And lo, there were Sisters.
There was cinema.
There was queer joy.
And there was, indeed, a Hunky Jesus. 🙏🔥

We rejoiced in a film celebrating the gloriously irreverent tradition of the Hunky Jesus Contest and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and in seeing a little piece of Sister history projected upon the big screen.

Our thanks and blessings to Queer Screen for bringing this fabulous piece of queer history, community and sacred silliness to Australian shores and for the gorgeous pics 🥰😇

May the Hunky be praised.
May the queer be joyful.
And may we all rise again. 🌈😇💋
