Most people spend the 48 hours after surgery horizontal on the sofa, binge-watching a series and being waited on…

Me? Straight to Hemel for our monthly ski club member session. 😂⛷️ @skiclubgb

I DID NOT SKI. Promise. Thanks to Dougie for stepping up. 😇

Rehab is still very much the priority:
❄️ A huge amount of icing + compression with @squidgouk
⚡️ Electrical muscle stimulation with @lifetechbynurokor to remind my quads that I’m going to need them this winter
🦵 And, as always, my Imbrace @imbrace_official compression leggings.

Because what’s better than compression?

DOUBLE COMPRESSION + ICE. 😂

Apparently I’m not very good at “taking it easy”… but I am taking the rehab seriously. 💪🏼⛷️

We had a brilliant time at Bozcup Padel Summer 2026! 🎾

A huge thank you to Boran for having us. Your team looked after us so well from start to finish, and it was a pleasure to be part of such a fantastic event. It was also so lovely meeting all the other amazing vendors!

We loved serving our signature mini pancakes, iced drinks, and matchas to everyone throughout the day. 🥞🥤🍵

Already looking forward to the next one! 🙌✨

T-minus one week until I’m back here again. Second stage ACL revision (full ACL reconstruction for the second time) and Lateral Extra-articular Tenodesis taking some of my IT band to make my knee big and strong.

Looking forward to connecting again with my trusty pals @squidgouk and @compex_uk and thanking all my lucky stars I’m not having the procedure this week 🥵

We see over 70 ACL patients a week at times & preach the same thing for the first 0-6 weeks.

It’s less about chasing click bait exercises & focusing on your own journey.

This is week 2 post op after seeing @difi_cheekymma - having already had a previous ACL reconstruction she knows the drill but important to go through that checklist ⬇️

Turning down the swelling @squidgouk 🧊

Activating the muscles again @compex_uk

Reinforcing full extension in the knee before chasing the ‘heel pop’. 🦿

Far too often I see many clinicians manually forcing extension & adding extra trauma to the knee.

If you’re having ACL surgery or need advice on your rehab - our DMs are always open!

Week 27 post ACL reconstruction and LET surgery

Ems is back on the astro twice a week for some simple football drills ⚽️🙌

And still putting in the hard work with rehab🙌.
The new routine is:

Monday: treadmill interval runs + mobility/core
Tuesday: strength work in the gym
Wednesday: static bike + mobility/core, plus football drills on the astro
Thursday: session with Matt @pembs_performance at @westhealthuk
Friday: treadmill interval runs + mobility/core
Saturday: strength work in the gym
Sunday: football drills on the astro

Plus @squidgouk ice + compression twice a day, every day, to keep swelling down.
@compex_uk muscle stim to support recovery after sessions.
Monthly massage therapy with Hannah @muscle_care_therapy

Consistency, patience, and trusting the process 💪⚽️
