a love letter to @hotstuffneworleans 💌

hot stuff slowly became the place to go every time I was back in town: hangover meals, family lunches, friend reunions, everything in between. something about the casual atmosphere, the cafeteria style meat & three vibe, and the best fried chicken and hot sauce I’ve ever had in my life that made @srschmid and I fell in love with it. legit shed a tear when the news broke that they were closing, but I’m so happy I was able to go one last time while I was in town and bring my family @amydes18 & @damiendesormeaux.

even better / what’s funny is that all of these pics were taken on different occasions all with different people each time, each and every pic!!!

goodbye to one of my favorite restaurants in the city 😭 you will be missed greatly. like an old familiar tune… 🎶

Liquid Metal after-movie by my man @imzlen 🙌🏼

It’s been a couple weeks since we released Liquid Metal, and I’m super grateful for all the love and everyone who’s taken the time to give it a watch and a listen!

A huge part of Liquid Metal for me was creating a world for this music to live in. I wanted the setting, lighting, visuals, and atmosphere to feel like an extension of the music itself and really bring the whole thing to life beyond just the songs.

There were so many moving pieces that went into making this happen. From the music and set design, to building, lighting, transportation, filming, photography, editing, and a whole lot of moral support along the way lol. It really took a village, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make this thing real. I couldnt have done it without you 🖤

Hope y’all have been enjoying Liquid Metal and Rosemary, more to come soon :)

@trailheadtaphousegolden smashburger with crispy sweet potato fries was 10/10. such a great find on a super hot day

here’s what else we got:
🥣 award-winning pork green chile
🍕 mojoe pinsa (aka flatbread)
🥚 muffaletta deviled eggs (was good but didn’t have enough toppings tbh)

bonus points for them having crystal hot sauce!!

the owner’s grandma was from New Orleans so there was lots of New Orleans influence on the menu. love finding a lil piece of home in CO!

The end of a chapter, not the book. @krewefit has been an integral part of my life for the past three years. The coaches and community have helped me through so many things, not only physically, but mentally. I am so excited to be able to still be a part of this community through @ergofitnola !
So, thank you so much to the coaches and members. I’ll see you on the Ergs! :)
