July & August Wrap Up 📚

Summer has come and gone but oh was it full of so many special memories & books that made me so happy to read ❤️ From book clubs & novel-tea parties to coffee & ice cream dates with friends and a bucket list trip with my dad & bestie, I'm so thankful for the books that kept me company during the last few months.

With the help of @netgalley, @prhaudio and @macmillan.audio and the library I saved $463 total in July & August on books 🥳🎉 Which is definitely something to celebrate!

My favorite book in July was "Just for the Plot" by @meghanquinnbooks, which was the perfect light & fun romance to accompany the craziness of interviewing & accepting a new job 🎉

My favorite book in August was so hard to narrow down because it was an amazing month of ARCs but I had to select "Breathing Under Water" by @jackiefriedland. A powerful and moving story that I'm still thinking about almost a month later.

Book Release Party 🎉

Still smiling after a fun night out with friends to celebrate @christinalauren new release "The Romance Revival" 😍 @tropesandtrifles hosted such a fun event and @susanleewrites was a wonderful moderator! So many laughs throughout the discussion 😂

I also got to finally meet @andrea.c.lowry.reads ❤️ It was so much fun to spend the evening together

We ended the night with Ice Cream from @mnicecream 😍🍦 There is no better way to end a hot summer day than with ice cream enjoyed on a patio outside 🤗

Thank you @gallerybooks for the #gifted ARC, I loved having the opportunity to fall in love with these charters last month!

It's been way too long since I've been to a book event! It felt so good to be surrounded by the best bookish people last night.

@elliepalmerwrites crushed it as the MC and asked @annabelmonaghan the best questions. They were both hilarious! Watch for my review of Dolly All the Time. Spoiler Alert, it's 5 shining stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 And the queen @justjuliawhelan narrates!!

I had such a great time having dinner with @gadgetgirlbooks, @thebookedlifeofkatie, and @thebookandtheboston! So great to meet Katie and Paige in person! And I always love catching up with @lynnthelibrarian and @ssil.thatread 🥰

Thank you @tropesandtrifles for bringing us all together at these amazing events! ❤️

February & March Wrap Up

The days & weeks have been flying by in 2026 filled with quality time with family & friends, date nights & bookish events such as book launches (@katequinn5975 & Abby Jimenez) and @sportsromancecon 🤗 So many fun memories made but also slowing down when I can to spend time with Millie & the furry friends who have visited (Chester, Koda & Ruby) ❤️

In February & March I read 29 books total, most of which were advance reader copies because someone needs to take my netgalley request feature away 😂🙈 I've saved $281 utilizing netgalley, the library and borrowing books from friends, which is awesome!

My favorite books were:
- February: "The Girls Before" by @kmarshallarts a gripping suspense novel that left my head spinning and my trust in people completely whipped clean!

- March: "No Matter What" by @carabastone, an emotional & raw love story about second chances, grief and finding yourself despite what life throws at you. This author is one of my favorites and I absolutely could not put this new novel down ❤️

I had the BEST weekend at @sportsromancecon! Thanks for showing me the ropes @run.read.repeat_myl!! My favorite part was being surroundes by genuinely good humans. Bookish people are the best.

❓️Have you ever been to a book con??
