Current state of affairs.

Week 4 squat session
1. 70kg, checking in, seeing how things feel, practicing balance and timing
2. 70kg, noticing my positioning, make adjustments for next set
3. 120kg, pelvis tucked and stacked with rib cage
4. 170kg, doubting myself after this
5. 190kg, use this to choose topset weight, feels good
6. 200kg, smelling salts # 1
7. 220kg, smelling salts # 2
8. 180kg, toes need to point out more
9. 180kg, getting tired

Not the best meet day but not the worst either. Big thank you to all the Ironside people putting on a sick meet and to @jabonguyen and @beyondbarbellpt getting me ready for this meet. Thanks to all the homies for pulling up and supporting. Shoutout @dpearse_31 and @jpadua.777 for loading and helping in the back room. Thanks to @cdn.sbd and @_nbryanna for recording our lifts today too!!!

Although I didn’t perform the best I had a blast with the boys @isaac__marron @kylealanwalker_90kg @shoonpapi Also first crack at 95 snatch in comp and first meet after switching to power jerks, lots to build on once I’m healthy!!

2/6 Today, Total: 205kg

Snatch:
❌90kg/198lbs
✅90kg/198lbs
❌95lbs/210lbs

Clean & Jerk:
✅115kg/253lbs
❌118kg/260lbs
❌ - Declined Third Attempt

I was pain free for the last five ish weeks but unfortunately my right glute injury was acting up again in the back room and I tweaked it on my 118 CJ attempt. Been dealing and working through it for a while glad I can finally take a step back and figure out what’s going on with it and get 100% healthy (or close). We’ll be back though!!!
