@sstopdropnroll has been in our kitchen a few times. This time around she asked if she could throw together a Vietnamese style party of street food and karaoke. Any excuse for a party works for us. Monday 10/12 @sstopdropnroll takes over the kitchen. Food goes 5PM - Sell Out. Karaoke all night. Whoever sings ‘kiss from a rose’ gets a shot of Malort.

Life is so crazy and full circle sometimes.

I found this photo of my dad standing beside Woody Allen at the diner he owned in New Jersey, where they filmed The Purple Rose of Cairo. Looking at it makes me wonder if I was always meant to find my own way into the food business too.

My dad lived so many different chapters and was never afraid to try something new or build something of his own. Now, all these years later, I see so much of him in me and in the life I’m creating.

Happy birthday, Dad. I love you and miss you more than I can say. I hope you know how proud I am to be your daughter and how grateful I am that you’re still with me in everything I do 🤍
