#bookdelivery taking me back to the early mid-90’s with the development and evolution of #jungle. Such an amazing time. I’d got bored with Hip Hop a bit due to gangster rap, and house wasn’t doing it for me anymore due to its popularity. When DnB came round it was so fresh and almost sounded dangerous, the jazz elements and programming made it electric to listen to in a club. Anyhoo, looking forward to reading this from @st8ofbass #stateofbass

In a lot of Charlotte Ritchie’s pieces to camera in ‘For the Record: An Incomplete History of Music’, she is sat at a desk behind an ever changing mountain of music books. We’ve had a bunch of people asking what one or another particular book is that is only partially visible and so here are the covers of every single book that was piled up on that desk over the couple of days of filming (make sure you scroll through, there's multiple images!) Strong recommendations across the board for all of them!

Pop into your local bookshop and get yourself something interesting!

And watch the entire documentary series for free on YouTube. Links in the bio.
