What happens when you know your body needs nourishment…but your appetite just isn’t cooperating?
Cancer treatment can change hunger cues, taste, smell, digestion, cravings, and even your confidence around food.
Tomorrow, Stacy Fritz and oncology nutritionist and cancer survivor Sara Stratton are going LIVE on Instagram for a special Food for Thought Q&A: Trusting Your Appetite Again.
We’ll continue the conversation around questions like:
• What can you do when you simply aren’t hungry?

• What does a balanced meal look like when you can only eat a little?
• How can caregivers help without adding pressure around food?
• How do you move away from fear and begin trusting your body again?
And most importantly — bring your questions. 💛
📅 Tomorrow — August 12
⏰ 12 PM ET

Congratulations to WBEC Greater DMV’s 2026 WBE Star Stacy Fritz, CEO of FIT2order, on delivering her TEDxApex talk, “Your Breath Is the Heaviest Thing You’ll Ever Hold.”

Drawing from the lessons she learned while watching her brother navigate cancer, Stacy explores how breathing, silence, waiting, touch, and grief can carry deep emotional significance. Her message offers a thoughtful reminder for patients, caregivers, business leaders, and anyone carrying more than others may see: pause, notice your breath, and allow yourself to fully exhale.

We are proud to celebrate Stacy’s leadership and the care she brings to conversations about stress, resilience, and whole-person well-being.

Exhausted… but still can’t sleep?

For many people on the cancer journey, rest can feel complicated. Stress, emotions, treatment schedules, medications, and an activated nervous system can all contribute to that “wired and tired” feeling.

In this Food for Thought episode, Stacey Fritz and Jen Nolan of Remission Nutrition talk about why deep rest matters, what may be interrupting sleep, and how nutrition and gentle evening rhythms can support the body.

Stacy Fritz’s obsession with learning to use breath as a tool is deeply personal, and stems in large part from helping her brother battle Stage 4 colon cancer.

Your breath is your most underused tool 📢

It’s the idea that TEDx speaker Stacy Fritz is selling on Episode 214 of She Sells He Sells, and she makes quite a compelling case.

Born from her personal journey as a yogi, and an even more personal journey guiding her brother through his battle with Stage 4 colon cancer, Stacy discovered the power of breath and is teaching all of us how we can harness it in our day to day lives.

What if healing isn’t just about the “big” nutrients like protein and carbs?

In this Food for Thought conversation, Sara Stratton shares why micronutrients like magnesium, zinc, and B vitamins matter so much during the cancer journey — especially because treatment itself can deplete them.

💚 “It’s not just the one thing.”

From soil health to the “food matrix,” this conversation is a powerful reminder that real food works together in ways supplements can’t fully replicate.
