Hello, cycling fans!

Meet @ibrahimtrusttheprocess and @staffa.k two of Sierra Leone’s most successful cyclists whose journey proves that dreams are earned through determination, not privilege.

Coming from a country with limited support, limited resources, riding with broken bikes, little government support for cycling, they refused to let challenges define their future. Through relentless hard work, discipline, and sacrifice, they created opportunities for themselves, relocated to the UAE to pursue better prospects, and continued chasing excellence on two wheels.

Today, they proudly represent Sierra Leone at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Scotland a milestone built on years of dedication, not luck or magic.

Their story is a reminder to every young person: your background does not have to determine your destination. Stay focused, work hard, believe in yourself, and never stop chasing your dreams. Hard work always pays off.

Let’s all wish Ibrahim and Mustapha the very best as they continue to fly the Sierra Leone flag with pride. 🇸🇱

5 Hex Bar moves every cyclist & triathlete should be doing.
.
Most endurance athletes train volume, almost none train force.
.
You can have a huge engine and still get dropped on the climb, still lose the sprint finish, WHY? because raw aerobic fitness doesn’t produce power, only Strength does.
.
The Hex bar is the single best tool for building that power without beating up your joints, Neutral grip, upright torso, less stress on the spine than a straight bar. This matters when you’re trying to build strength without digging a recovery hole your training can’t afford.
.
Two sessions a week. Heavy days for strength, explosive days for power. That’s the difference between an athlete who fades and one who finishes strong.
.
Save this - Your legs will thank you for it come Race Day
Rough week:
• Strength day: hex bar deadlift/squat, 5x5, heavier load, ~90 sec rest
• Power day: hex bar jump squat, 4-5x3-5, light load, ~2-3 min rest, focus purely on speed off the ground
