It's been a minute since we last doodled. Slowly working on projects, balancing life, and honing this craft. This hatch is a sick build by @tex_wrx, also someone who has took many years honing their car. A clean widebody GR/GV hatchback with a whole lengthy list of JDM goodies. Hope you enjoy it!

First Subiefest. First car show. One hell of a road trip.

Drove the GT over 1,100 miles just to be there, and somehow the only photos I came home with are next to @stanthesubieman

Couldn’t have picked a better car to park next to, though. Seeing another 5th gen that’s had this much thought, work, and personality put into it made the trip that much more worth it.

A lot of miles, a lot of Subarus, and a whole lot of ideas for what’s next.

Definitely not the last Subiefest. 🤙

Part 2 of 3 | Subiefest 2026

Part 1 of 3 | Subiefest 2026 was a success. Special thanks to those who put on the event, the friends that support me, the new friends I’ve met in the community, and my non car friends who put up with me posting the same car in a slightly different angle. I’ve never chased a trophy so it was quite a surprise I was given a runner up / second place win but I appreciate those who have appreciated what I’ve done with this car and the general sentiment I’ve received.

I’ve got a pretty good group of people that have my back. Here’s to another year.

I was just driving home after picking some dinner for my family when this meet caught my attention. I asked what this was and they invited me. So I ended up photographing this #Subaru X #Honda meet last night when I passed through my old high school meeting grounds circa Friday Nights 2005. Not gonna lie, it brought me some nostalgia. Saw some really nice builds but missed out on the details cause my family's soup was getting cold. Thanks for the hospitality! #thephotojournalist
