Paddle Worldwide SUP World Championships 2026 ✅ And that’s a wrap on the 2026 season! 🌍

What an incredible experience. A tricky start to the week in the sprints, a fun and confidence-building tech race, and a tough but strong performance in the long distance.

An unforgettable week racing against some of the best in the world, surrounded by so many legends of the sport. An experience I’ll take a lot from!

A massive thank you to my coach @espe.bs for everything this year. The work is paying off, things are moving in the right direction, and I’m excited to see what’s next. 💪🏼

To celebrate our season drawing to an end we celebrated in style today-1km TT for our juniors followed by hot chocolate and cakes! Some special awards handed out to our incredible young people who have achieved so much in a short space of time. ICF World Championships Open Womem Distance Race Start

I like to keep things real and show you all the rawness of racing.

For me: despite distance being my fav today didn't go that great. However I'm just glad I came and I've learned plenty and now have the confidence to enter again!

If you are new here: I'm 38 and in the open as I have no choice as I'm not yet the age for masters!

I started racing in spring 2023. And I feel pleased with what improvements I've made so far and how much I've pushed myself out of my comfort zone.

My calves went like rocks! Despite my calve sleeves. I think it's because I didn't do my usual warm up nor use my massage ball or therabands.
Having hyper mobility and lipidema can be a real pain.

You live and learn!

However I'm pleased with my start. I was fearing it as the start line was huge!

Well done to all. We are all badass for getting out on that start line.

This feels like a rare treat these days… a sunny social Sunday paddle, with some fab SUP buddies near Bath.

Great to get the Allstar Airline out for a run and should be good fun! So many SUP stories to exchange and SUP adventures to plan!

And we’re going for a pub roast after - can’t wait 😋

The Surge 2026

My first ever lap-based SUP event, and what an experience it was!

The day started off lovely and calm… but that didn't last long! 💨 The wind soon picked up, giving us four very different conditions to battle through on every lap – headwind, sidewind, downwind and some rather lively side chop/swell!

After 6 laps, 17km and just over 3 hours on the water, I was absolutely shattered! With staying on my board becoming more of a priority than staying in the race, I decided to call it a day before an unplanned swim became inevitable! 😂

Not quite the full 4 hours I'd planned, but a brilliant challenge, a new experience and another 17km in the bank! Incredible efforts all round, well done to all those super strong paddlers, especially the fabulous podium finishers.

Huge thanks to Cassie and the SUP Fitness crew for putting on another fantastic event.

Can't wait to see you all at the Castle! 🏰
