Spreading the good feelings to everyone involved 💖🧸

Thank you to @mattel for working directly with us to source such incredible toys!

And shout out to our amazing friends at Aktion Club of Stark County / @stark_county_dd for being so willing to help us put on a branded motivational sticker on EACH toy. You guys accomplished what would have taken us multiple days in just a couple hours. You all rock! 🙌

These toys will continue to spread the good feelings to children facing difficult situations throughout Northeast Ohio 🧸

These toys will find a child at either @akronchildrens , one of the many @aultmanfm hospital locations, Project KARE, @pathwaycfc , @caring_for_kids , or another local nonprofit!

Make sure to follow along to not miss all the smiles and good feelings being made together 💖🧸

I finally got the opportunity to check out @randr_coffee today to celebrate Inclusion with @stark_county_dd. The owners, Melanie and Aaron are so sweet and Melanie made me the best iced caramel macchiato I have ever had. Please check them out, you won't regret it. ☕️

🌟 821 Consulting LLC on the Move! 🌟

Last week was a masterclass in why I love this work:
🔹 GBS Corp RevCycle – Their leadership team keeps raising the bar. Our “Communication Skills for Leaders” session overflowed with fresh insights and “aha!” moments. Thanks to Lisa Fitzgerald & Dustin Schlimm for making this a priority!

🔹 Shelby County JFS – This powerhouse group leaned into “De-Escalation: Beyond the Basics”, practicing real-world strategies to stay calm and serve with excellence. Thanks to Director, Tina Hooks for inviting me to speak!

🔹 Franklin County Children Services – A full-day “Decide with Confidence” training became an action-packed exchange of ideas to sharpen judgment and decision-making at every level. Thank you to Executive Director, Chip Spinning and Vicky Rhoads for asking me to be part of this awesome Leadership Program at FCCS!

🔹 Hardin County JFS – I spent much of the week alongside their leadership team as we work to fill their next Director role—a hire that will shape their agency’s future. Thank you to the Hardin County Commissioners for their faith in 821 Consulting!

✨ And the week ended on the highest note…
Serving as the keynote speaker for the Stark County Board of DD - DSP Recognition Luncheon was pure joy. Honoring this extraordinary group of Direct Support Professionals, who touch countless lives every day, reminded me why this work matters so deeply. Thank you Jeremy Ballinger & William Green for trusting me to carry your message of gratitude to these wonderful people!

💖 The Real Heroes
The staff I meet in every one of these settings are the true heroes of our world. They give of themselves in roles that rarely receive the praise or gratitude they deserve. In a time when criticism and negativity can feel louder than kindness, spending my week with people who genuinely care about what they do was an absolute gift.

💡 Leadership development isn’t just a “nice to have”—it’s the heartbeat of strong teams and thriving communities.

✨ Excited and honored to serve as the keynote speaker for the Stark County Board MMDD DSP Recognition Luncheon on September 13!

The work Direct Support Professionals do every day is nothing short of inspiring. Their compassion, dedication, and commitment change lives and strengthen our community in ways that often go unseen. 💙

I’m looking forward to celebrating these incredible individuals, shining a light on their impact, and saying a heartfelt THANK YOU for the difference they make every single day.

Ready to make your next event unforgettable? I’d be honored to serve as your keynote speaker.
