A mind-blowing experience at @meow__wolf in Vegas and meeting the visionary creatives from the team at the @oddfest.co in Helsinki 🔥🎶🤪 So amazing to get a chance to hang out with you @starleymay and @luke_dorman 🫶🏼😭🥰✨ Thank you for creating the worlds full of wonder 💭 Six (6/7) hours was definitely not enough to explore all the intricate details and meaning behind the spaces and installations. And now having heard how much more there is to the visual part of the space - I can’t wait to be back to @omegamartusa and to all the other immersive madness stories. Thank you!! #oddfest #meowwolf #helloinstagram #ksushadreaming

Creative Week by @oddfest.co started just two days ago, and I’m already impressed by the quality of conversations, connections, and ideas it has brought together. This week transforms Helsinki into a city-wide platform for creativity, with dozens of free events exploring the intersections of culture, technology, entrepreneurship, investment, and community. Over the past two days, I attended two very different but equally inspiring gatherings. At Creative x Tech: Ecosystem Convergence at @mariazeroone , I joined artists, founders, technologists, musicians, designers, and cultural operators to explore what happens when creative and tech ecosystems intentionally collaborate. One of the strongest takeaways was that innovation often emerges not within industries, but between them. Yesterday's Creative Capital Gathering opened an important discussion about the future of investment in the creative industries. It was refreshing to see investors, foundations, public-sector actors, and creative leaders sharing perspectives and exploring new models for supporting creative ventures and cultural innovation. For me, the biggest value of both events was the people. New conversations, unexpected connections, fresh perspectives, and a genuine sense that Finland's creative ecosystem is becoming increasingly collaborative, ambitious, and future-oriented. Creative Week continues throughout the week, and all events are free to attend (some require registration). And of course, the main event is still ahead: ODDfest 2026. If you're planning to attend, send me a direct message and I'll share a secret code for festival tickets. Also, you're warmly invited to the official opening of Smell the Art Exhibition on Friday, June 12 at 19:00 at Bio Rex, where visual art and scent come together in a multisensory experience created in partnership with ARTISHOK.ME and Helsinki Perfume Club Looking forward to seeing many familiar and new faces there. Dallas, March 28, 2025 Luke Dorman / Marley Prudeaux Senior Creative Director, Brand Design / Senior Visual Designer at Meow Wolf — Ridiculous conversations and unconventional questions are just a part of what @luke_dorman and @starleymay demonstrated can lead to interesting outcomes. When creating worlds for others it is important to keep them as “real” as possible, so not everything should have equal narrative significance. That would not be real. Working as a team — while messy, confusing or conflicting at times — creates a community that can bring ideas and concepts together into a space of play, trust and exploration. Who owns creative anyways? In the end building culture isn’t all about play and joy—it’s learning how to have hard conversations, advocate for your ideas, and be open to real critique of the structures you're operating in. They also admitted that sometimes the thing we aspire to often, which is to do whatever we want, can actually be exhausting. Sometimes all those constraints are more beneficial than you think. So embrace them. You are not just designing for people, you are shaping the culture within the walls. — #inhouseinfocus #inperson2025 #ucllc #branding #identity #conference #dallas Photos by @sofianegron
