I seriously feel so grateful to have a partner that goes along with my ideas, values a quiet morning at the plant nursery, nieces that call me when they want help with their school projects, a son that goes with the flow and loves hanging out with us, even at the nursery, and thankful for good sushi @gorilla_sushi
A Sunday well spent, brings a week of content.
♡Thank you God for this life ♡

During our visit to Star Nursery, we explored their wide selection of desert-adapted plants, trees, palms, pottery, and landscape materials.

Finding the right plants for Southern Nevada is about more than appearance. They need to suit the climate, the soil, the available space, and the way each landscape will be used.

Visits like this help us learn more about the local selection, compare possibilities, and build relationships with suppliers who can support our future projects.

Another important step as we prepare for our 2027 launch.

I forgot to take the seeds out of a rotting papaya before i put it to rest in my compost. Then I used the compost to plant ginger roots. I waited and waited and one day my gingers turned into this guy😆

I grew up with the trees these plants came from. Theyʻre far more than just pretty. Theyʻre the keepers of my entire lifeʻs history, and that of my childrensʻ, because they also grew up with the same tree these werenhad from. Iʻve been planting and growing things all my life. Of all the healing things I have suggested to other survivors of abuse, planting is right up there with dancing🌺

30 second walkthrough ⏰ Check out this Lake Las Vegas backyard

My favorite part of this backyard is the mounds. They’re a simple way to add height and texture without adding a huge cost.

@michelleduncandesigns did a great job designing this backyard!

Plants from @starnurserylv
Porcelain from @msisurfaces.lasvegas
Wall + Cap from @lasvegaspaver
