Hello

My name is Madeline
I want to make spaces of a light embrace
for you to immerse

I crave softness in my own world. Safety and care.

I hope you feel this in my work

It’s why I create, from a deeply personal place. Hoping It might resonate with you too.

Doing my best to share even when it feels vulnerable

Because it’s what we’re here to do

To : Connect . Create . & Be immersed in the experience of life

Our lobby is a colour explosion - intense and modern. It contrasts spectacularly with the soft pink and stone exterior as you walk through our front door. Our whole colour palette hinged off finding the right tile. These @mutinaceramics tiles captured the variety of colour we saw in the stone walls - connecting the new additions with the 160 year legacy of colour and texture.

Is it time? This is us! Izzie and Lisa, mother daughter combo behind Miss Midgley’s. Both of us are graduates from @uqarchitecture_ (albeit 30 years apart). Our vision for this project was to share and restore this rare piece of Brisbane’s history while reimagining what it could be. This photo was taken on site in the final days of construction with our muse - Stella 🐩
.
Miss M is open, and in the face of the recent current events we hope we can offer you some much needed respite. See you soon!
.
Ps. It is a complete coincidence that we are both wearing @birkenstockau and @countryroad - what can we say…great minds think alike?!

Our girl @oflionmusic in a dreamscape of her own (read: a DIY tarp pool in the middle of @thestationbrisbane). These were taken for Iz’s ‘Right Thing’ release artwork, out now on the streams.

In:form-less installation

How do we experience the intersection of form and formlessness?

Does one thing exists more than the other just because our senses perceive it clearer ?

Does ‘something/nothing ’ exist because we apply a context ; does our observation have an effect?

How does our perception of information change our reality?

What realities lie in our peripheral awareness?

Staying engaged with these questions through my creative practice : not seeking answers

Thank you
