(Late post) Last Thursday I had the chance to attend @missoutsideeeee first annual pancake run @ihop.bx . Very humid and showers but the rain stopped and we ran.
Fun crowd and we had future runners in attendance (kids). It was a fun filled 5k and I can't wait to attend the next one.

pancakes in Parkchester BX.
And some running too.
But more importantly, free pancakes 🥞.

First time out there. What a vibe!!!

Special shout out to @missoutsideeeee for running a fun and family friendly group run. Pacers did their thing and it flowed well. The food was good, the vibes were great, the people were excellent.

Good work everybody! It was humid as hell. Hope to be a part of more of these.

Summer 2026 is one for the books. Gratitude. 🙏

Thank you to everyone who pulled up to the @oldpal Run Club hosted by @daddy_shango! After a 4 mile run starting and ending at Yerba Buena, our runners came back needing a pick me up, and we had just the thing.

Free merch, free piraguas from @mamitasices , and goodies waiting at the finish line. Rain or shine, we run together.

Comment below if you’d want to attend next time.

2nd race had a lot of lessons in store. Grateful for a healthy body and mind. Grateful for NYC. Running is changing/has changed me. I love it here.

Came home with a 2:24:55, and a hunger for more. I am proud of the progress. Last year I was limping home, this year I could have kept running. The endurance is there, the speed was not. Lots to work on. Excited for that.

I’m cheering for all of you. Go do something that challenges you, something you might fail at. Then try it again. I’ll be back for that sub 2. I’m excited to keep growing.

Onward. 🐺

2:24:55

Overfueled and had to stop to use the bathroom basically every aid station through mile 6 lol.

That’s on me. Learned a lot. This running thing is really a science.

Regardless of not hitting my target goal of sub 2 hours, I’m still pleased with my progress and my body’s performance today.

A PR is a PR.

2:48–>2:24

The Work continues, it will always continue.

Special thanks to @han.alderman @ripstick91 @cassidynalbone @steadyprogress_ and everyone sending messages and videos + encouragement !!!!

Also shout out to my buddy @ashleyjoshi congrats on your first half kid! You knocked it down. Proud of you! ❤️

I’m ready to get back to work and level up some more. Learned so much the last 4 months.

See yall outside.

Rocky road to 10 miles.

Tough one out there today. Didn’t expect an IT band flare up. Gonna have to monitor that.

Epsom salt bath, ice, and a solid nap are in my future today.

Deposits made with my brother @steadyprogress_ 💰.

Prospect park humbles a man.
