Anime NYC photo dump! I only attended for two days which was more than enough (my toes still hurt) but I made the most out of it! I think I spent more time yapping with cosplayers and artists about different anime series we love over anything else but I definitely felt myself chasing the nostalgia and just living in the moment. As always I loved running into friends and meeting new people along with those I’ve followed online and creating new memories. It’s crazy to think that I’ve been attending Anime NYC since year one and to see how big it’s grown over the years. Here’s to all the magnesium and epsom salt baths I took over the last few days. 😅

LETS GO KNICKS!!!!!! I’m sure any of you New York Knicks fans are pumped right now. Who’s watching? How many games in the series will they take until they win? I haven’t kept up but you already know who I’m rooting for now!

I was honored to tattoo this Net York Knick Hinata Hyuga on a super awesome dude from Queens! What sports version of your favorite character or oc would you get? Thank you for looking. Now booking June until end of the year.

Very glad I returned to EVO this year. I had a great time seeing old friends & new, saw amazing friends get married, watched some crazy matches, & more.

As much as I love cosplay, I decided last minute not to cosplay this year at EVO. This weekend was my first time really traveling again since the pandemic and I really just wanted to relax & see friends I haven't seen in years. 💖

Life has changed for many of us, but our love for fighting games & community still remains the same. Missed seeing a couple people, but hopefully there will be more opportunities in the future. ❤️

Thank you everyone who made this weekend enjoyable! ❤️❤️❤️

Flame Chun Li - @streetfighter_duel
@sonicboomb0x Street Fighter 6 Release Party

I want to thank everyone that came out to celebrate the release of Street Fighter 6. It was really nice seeing everyone again especially after all these years. I also want to thank @sonicboomb0x for inviting me to host again. It was truly a pleasure & honor. I always enjoy attending their events whenever I can and recommend you guys check them out!

The last time I really worked on a cosplay was in 2019. Between the pandemic and life changes I really had no time to work on anything new.

When Street Fighter Duel came out I fell in love with Flame Chun Li's design and gameplay. I honestly did not think that I was going to finish this costume enough for the SF6 release party, but @katsreckless really encouraged and supported me with the construction of this project. She helped me with the armor part of my belt, as well as drafted/cut the design patterns of the costume. Shout-out to @paulscjr for helping me out as well & always supporting me.

I plan on adding upgrades to this cosplay and bringing it to EVO in August! ✌️

P.S. Don't mind the watch on my ankle! I'm tracking my steps all month for a "Steps Challenge" for work 🙃

Nyc photo dump! Got a good handful of stuff at Kinokuniya, got GOOD food (if it wasn't evident by my stories 😂), saw friends I haven't seen since pre-rona and got some pics 📸 thanks @wottermelons for accompanying me!

@ironpinky really came through with these gorgeous commissions as usual. Wow, I love Rival Schools so much and Akira has always been my go to character for the past 19 years!! I’d love to see a remake come out sometime in my lifetime but who knows what @capcomusa has up their sleeve these days. Also, look at this beautiful Hinata piece he did for @steebfighter !

Really blessed and fortunate to be with someone that shares just as much passion for retro gaming as I do. We remain undefeated despite the fact that he talks a bunch of shit about Dhalsim 😡 What’s your favorite retro game that you see here or don’t see?

🎮 Some acquired loot from @defendthenorth, thanks @irene_y_lee for having merch that appealed to my retro taste! ♥️
