We’re all in a cage of our own making. Our feeds are full of ads, and they’re getting worse and worse. Ads are a part of digital life, but we’ve entered a stage in social media where they’ve gotten excessive and more normalized by the day. Food reviews, product endorsements, app sponsorships, all feel untrustworthy when it boils down to a paid transaction and nothing more.

Everyone’s got to make a living, and for many, social media is a business at the end of the day, but your platform came from your audience in the first place. Profit can’t come at their expense. We aren’t calling out anyone in particular, but social media has become such a big part of modern culture, and these are the kinds of things that keep coming up in conversation. There’s this feeling that we have no control over it, but we do have some. It just takes a bit more effort to show that online audiences deserve honesty, transparency, and respect.

Check out some of our (not sponsored) recommendations for studios & agencies that will make something worth sharing.

شكرا @diana_g_sfeir 🫶🏻💫
