POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

1st. Place. At UFC BJJ Open.

Post to come of the video, but fun fact, this was the first tournament/bracket I've placed 1st in in about 8 years. It's the first time I've ever placed first as an adult.

I trained extremely hard for this tournament, and I can say that with 100% confidence. But!! It wasn't just me. I also got to see my teammates that did compete along with even the ones who didn't, train just as hard. We've been preparing for this competition for 3 months before it happened and without that training I would not have had nearly as good a performance as I did.

Of course winning is always nice but honestly my favorite part of this whole tournament experience was getting to travel and compete alongside my teammates. I've never gotten to experience it to this degree and there is no word I can use to describe it other than amazing. I miss it so so much and hope we get to do it again someday <3

Thank you @mikelugobjj for being in my corner and (bullying) training me to be a real competitor. Having you coach me for the first time at UFC BJJ was really really cool and I'm super grateful

And again, thank you so much for my teammates for helping me train for this competition. Every time you've put me in back control or a submission helped me get better and not have that happen in the actual tournament.

And and!!! Thank you to the people who came out that weren't even competing and came to support!!! I love you guys. @bethanynessuno especially had all the competitors all coached, hyped, hydrated, and fed!! + @marisawoodz also gave us some yummy goodie bags for comp day as well. They're also two of my most trained with training partners so I may be biased but I think they're incredible.

Okay okay videos coming soon, you all are amazing and thank you again!!!!

PS: thank you to @palm_martial_arts / @edubjjuk for hosting us at your gym for a drop-in class!! So cool to learn from you and to be in your gym. 100% want to come back!!

PPS: climbing the tree at the AirBnB was a crucial part to how I got gold

Thoughts are creative & Thinking is the root of your suffering.
If you work hard enough to achieve what you pursue it would mean nothing without loving what you’re already blessed with right now. Materials don’t produce emotions and you can’t think your way into happiness.
Love for everyone that’s been a part of 2025, the real know who they are 💚💯
