What can I say? As I went through my camera roll on my phone, thinking about talking about this last year, I moved from what felt like something focused on me to thinking about other people. I don’t post much about my family, and my personal life, out of a sense of respect for my family’s privacy, and sometimes I think that extends to my friends as well. As I thought about what I’d say about this past year it occurred to me that what strung it all together (besides many, many, many flights) was people: my friends, my family, my collaborators and colleagues and the surprise of wonderful new folks along the way. My whole life has been a search for people, and this past year I feel like I finally began to understand myself in them. 2024 was a very tough year for me and at my lowest I realized the uselessness of feeling angry about not having more when I already had so much and so I worked on setting that pettiness aside. Into that space entered so much positivity and possibility. 2025 was an incredible year for me, not without its challenges, and always against a backdrop of unbelievable injustices in every direction for so many that deserve so much better. I hope I can keep finding ways to pay it forward. My life would not be possible without all these incredible people in it. Here’s to a new year of choosing joy and helping people in need.

This was way too fun to not repost @steelydanpaddock and his awesome project he brought me on to Steadicam for. Thanks so much Dan and @aajayiiii for trusting me to help your piece come to life! Any time I get to do vehicle setups is always a blast, and the outrigging @saltwatertaffy21 and @pswalsh001 put together for me some some of the most solid and safe I've ever been on.
