Like a jigsaw puzzle, Yulia Iosilzon’s ceramic paintings come together piece by piece. Each glazed ceramic element fits precisely onto a wooden panel, carefully positioned and secured with screws. From shaping the individual pieces to assembling the final composition, the entire process is carried out by hand.

‘It’s been rough for so many people in this room’
Honoured by the British Friends of the Art Museums of Israel, artist Zoe Buckman talked about why art and human connection matter in the wake of rising antisemitism

Artist Zoe Buckman used an emotional appearance as guest of honour at the British Friends of the Art Museums of Israel (BFAMI) annual luncheon to reflect on the isolation many Jews have experienced since 7 October and the importance of finding community in increasingly difficult times.

As in J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan, we long for Neverland, where landscapes are emptied of noise, where time pauses, and where something long forgotten stirs back to life.

Finding Neverland offers a moment of immersion in a utopian universe where dreaming, refuge, and renewal become possible.

The exhibition invites us to pause for a moment of beauty and introspection, so fundamental to our well-being, even when it feels at times like belonging to a long-forgotten reality.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS.

Entirely self-taught, Broken Fingaz Crew’s (BFC) commitment to experimentation and reinvention has been central to the evolution of their collective practice. Over the years, BFC has continuously expanded its work, engaging with animation, illustration, and set design. Their collaborations with musicians such as Primus, Pearl Jam, Beck, U2, The Alchemist, and Kendrick Lamar exemplify their ability to move fluidly between artistic disciplines, collapsing distinctions between visual art, sound, and popular culture.
