Trio Glossía will be playing this incredible show on Thursday 10/22 at Dan’s Silverleaf in Denton. We haven’t ever had an opportunity to play a full blown extreme grindcore/metal show quite on this level. We are honored that our fellas at No Coast asked us to join the bill, and are honored to share the stage with Sarmat, Cognizant, and Baring Teeth. While our musical sensibilities are separate in some ways, we still share a lot of common ground in terms of aesthetics and values. Cheers y’all. See you Thursday.

Thanks to everyone who came to our last two shows. We had a blast playing at The Pony in Denton and backing up the Alan Braufman Quintet at Monks Jazz Club in Austin. These are Trio Glossia’s last two shows in North Texas before Stefan moves for Chicago. We hope to see you. Thursday October 22 @danssilverleaf with Sarmat, Cognizant, and Baring Teeth. Thursday October 29 @fullcityrooster with Sleeping Beast. Cheers!

We’ve put in some hard work this past year, and yet there’s still much more to be done. Thanks to everyone who has supported Trio Glossía in anyway over the last 4 years of our existence. We currently have many things in the works. In the meantime, if you live in the D/FW metroplex or Austin, come see a show. Tonight, 10/9, we play @theponydenton. Next Tuesday, 10/13, all three members of Trio Glossía will be playing in the Alan Braufman Quintet featuring Chase Baird @monksjazz in Austin. Thursday, 10/22, Trio Glossía plays @danssilverleaf with Sarmat, Baring Teeth, and Cognizant. Our last Texas show for a while will be on Thursday, 10/29 @fullcityrooster with Sleeping Beast. Cheers! Two days away! Trio Glossía play at The Pony in Denton this Friday, October 9th, at 9 p.m. Doors at 8:30 p.m. This is our second to last show in Denton before Stefan moves to Chicago. We will still be a fully functional band, but Texas shows will become a little more rare as Stefan gets acclimated to their new home. Tickets at theponydenton.com

The last time I played in Austin was 1978 as a member of Carla Bley’s band. I’m excited to perform my music there for the first time with an amazing band of Austin musicians, including my former student, Chase Baird. The show is Oct 13 at Monks and I’ll also be hanging out at End of an Ear, a great Austin record store on Oct 11 at 4pm. Hope to see you there.

A little clip of the @trioglossia performance on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at @themodernfw for the closing of the @rashidjohnson exhibit, A Poem for Deep Thinkers. An incredible performance in an incredible space. ❤️

Come see one of Trio Glossía’s upcoming D/FW shows before they are a lesser occurrence. While we will still be keeping this band together and functional in a long distance capacity, Stefan will be moving to live in Chicago in five weeks. We will be playing Texas shows on occasion when Stefan visits during holidays, and will for sure be booking frequent Trio Glossía shows in Chicago and the Midwest once they are settled out that way. Our next two shows are tomorrow, Saturday 9/26, at the Fort Worth Museum of Modern Art, and Friday 10/09, at The Pony in Denton. Come show some love. Cheers. Videos from @taylormakeswaves

Before moving off to NYC, we were fortunate enough to speak with @lloramusic !

We talked about collaborations with other musicians, persevering through a health scare, and a whole lot more. Check it out!

As always, this one is brought to you by @othervoicesdfw
