The Area Facilitators gathered together this week to establish curriculum, create workshops, and develop scheduling for this year’s Area Officers!💙💛 - Area officers represent their respective areas and will have the opportunity to attend Area Kick Off, ALT & Impact Conference, plan and excecute their ALC’s, attend the Utah State Capitol, receive a personalized Area FFA jacket provided by our sponsors @mountainlandsupply / @ifacountrystores , & more💙💛 - The facilitators look forward to this brand new launch of this curriculum they spent time working on with FFA members in mind!🍎 - #ffa #utahffa #facilitatorteam #areaofficers #ffaalumni

Utah State Convention 2026 🏆 Prepared Public Speaking Winner 🥈 2nd Place Parliamentary Procedure ⭐️ 4th Place Star Greenhand (Production) This year was something special. I got the chance to compete in multiple events, and I’m so grateful for the support that got me here. My prepared speech pushed me to be vulnerable, but in the words of Miss Aysia Massey, “You have to become vulnerable to open the conversation up for change.”Sharing my message made it all worth it. If I made a difference in even one person, I’ve won. So thankful for my advisors, supporters, and the amazing people this blue jacket has brought into my life. 💙

‘25 in review🎞️🕰️💌🎬 - This year was full of some of the hardest & darkest moments of my life but it was a year overflowing with immeasurable joy, growth, & change. - Losing Judd in February of 2025 was just the beginning of months filled with my entire world being flipped upside down. I fought battles few understood or even knew about. There is not a single thing I would take back. Through it all, I have grown to be kinder, to open my mind, and to stand up for myself. With a million things to be upset about, there’s always that gold lining I aim to find💌 - I bought my dream camera set up & grew my photography business (even against IG praying on my downfall). I learned manual settings, LRC, & ventured out of my comfort zone📸 - I added to my endless list of jobs, side hustles, & to-do lists: • Freshman Year @ USU & a change of major • Communications Specialist for @utahffa • Travel & Tourist Dept. for Uintah County • Social Media Director for @mybebebowsboutique • Owner of @a.massey.pics • Choreographer for Empower Clogging Studio - 2025 marked a full year dating my best friend. I’m endlessly grateful for the love he has shown in every season. He is the love of my life & I hope to gush about him forever💓 Lori, Jodie, & Karyn have been right there through it all & I’m the luckiest to have such amazing sister-in-laws & the greatest MIL in the world💓 - Had the opportunity to live this year traveling, celebrating three years cancer free, getting my first apartment, paying off my car, hitting over 29,000 followers on TikTok💓 - How lucky am I to be busy, be a friend, and be loved? How blessed am I to have support, have a chosen family, and to have a heart that feels so deeply? How beautifully painful is it to continue living after they lower the casket? - With every heartache, I was surrounded by so many who lifted & believed in me. I am immensely thankful for every person who encouraged & supported me through this year. It has not gone unnoticed💓 - 2025 was a year I can remember as a growing pains type beat. I wouldn’t take it back but boy, am I glad to see her go. - Here’s to ‘26💌

💙💛 This week has been full of smiles, memories, friendships, and even a few tears. I had such a blast back east for my third and final time at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo. It was such an amazing opportunity to watch this year’s national officer team be elected — especially since I’ve had the privilege of knowing each of them personally and watching them finish out their incredible year on stage. One of the best parts was reconnecting with all my friends from SUMMIT in Washington, D.C. earlier this summer. It was so great to catch up with everyone, share stories about state officer life, and just talk about where life has taken us since then. Another highlight of this week was serving as a delegate and committee member. As part of my committee, we reviewed proposals about the National FFA conferences offered to members nationwide. It was such a rewarding experience to help shape the future of this organization that means so much to all of us. I also want to give a huge shoutout to all the ag teachers — not just in Utah, but across the entire country. You are the people shaping the next generation of farmers, progress-makers, and leaders. Your time, dedication, and passion make it possible for students to grow not just in their education, but in their lives. And finally, a special shoutout to my advisor, Mrs. Silcox — yes, she’s my mom, but besides that, she’s been an incredible mentor and supporter. It’s been such a special experience seeing her as my advisor while serving as a state officer, and competing under her guidance at the National Convention last year. The 98th National FFA Convention and Expo!! This week has been filled with memories, friends, and inspiring messages from our retiring national officers. It was my first time getting to participate in Day of Service, which was super fun. Attending sessions, being a delegate, and competing are all things I will never forget. As part of being a state officers, my team got to represent the Utah FFA Association in all delegate meetings, working to represent our members and make a positive difference in National FFA. I got to compete in the Agricultural Sales CDE. My team placed 13th overall in the nation!! How exciting! I also placed 6th high individual, which was a huge accomplishment for me. Walking across the big stage at nationals was something I never thought I would accomplish. Something that has been on my mind a lot this week is how amazing our agriculture teachers are. If you flip to the last slide, you will see a flashback to my freshman year, where I won our state creed speaking competition, standing beside me was my FFA advisor, Tyrell Stephens. Mr.Stephens has been right by my side through every step of the way through my FFA journey. This was the last competition that Mr.Stephens coached me fore. Without him, I would not have made it this far in FFA competitions. I credit my success to his consistent encouragement, pushing me outside of my comfort zone, and all of his after school hours to help me prepare for competitions. Ag teachers all over the nation are making a difference in the lives of students. Watching the national officers recognize their advisors this year made me tear up a little bit, knowing how big of a difference my ag teachers made in my life. To all of my Utah FFA members, cherish the moments you get to be under the guidance of such amazing individuals, because someday, you will have your last competition, just like I did this week. I love you all 🫶🏻🫶🏻
