One exercise I always do for Backday #pullups

My biggest tip: Practice pull-ups at the beginning of your workout while you’re fresh, rather than after exhausting your back and arms.

The girls had NO idea we were going to the shelter to bring home a cat, and their reaction was everything. 🥹

There were so many sweet cats waiting for their forever homes, if I could, I honestly would’ve taken them all.

But this little girl came home with us, and she’s already settling in like she’s always belonged here. 🏡🐾

Welcome to the family, sweet girl.

3 things I focus on when I squat🏋🏻‍♀️

Squats will forever be one of my lower-body staples.

A few cues I always come back to:
✨ Brace your core
✨ Control the way down
✨ Push the floor away as you stand

Tip: Focus on form before adding more weight 🚀

Save this for your next leg day! 🔖

Protein that fits into my day without making a big deal about it 🤎

Between workouts, work, mom life and everything in between, I’m always looking for simple ways to get enough protein in, and lately, Prime Protein from Equip has been one of my go-to’s.

What I love most? It’s made from grass-fed beef protein and is free from dairy, whey, soy and egg. For me, that means an easy way to add protein to my day without that heavy, overly full feeling.

I’ll add it to a shake, oats or whatever works that day, because healthy habits don’t have to be complicated.

Simple ingredients. More protein. Easy to fit into real life. 💪🏼✨

Exploring a little piece of Mississippi blues history 🎶💙

We stopped by Cat Head Delta Blues & Folk Art in Clarksdale, Mississippi🇺🇸

One of my favorite things about living in Mississippi is getting to discover places that are so deeply connected to the culture and history of the Delta.

From South Africa 🇿🇦 to exploring the Mississippi Delta 🇺🇸 still taking it all in, one little adventure at a time. 🤎

Overnight heatless curls 👌🏼✨🪄

My hairdresser gave me this satin curling robe and I had to try it! It’s midday and I still have the curls, so it’s something that I’ll definitely use more often!
