dance sometimes turns into a job. don’t get me wrong we are blessed when it is the job. but dance is also still the joy we find in entering the middle school talent show. the strut of a living room fashion show. the whimsy of not caring. my hope is to continue to carve out a space where our love for bettering ourselves in the craft meets the freedom and WHIMSY of mundane and simple asks. nostalgia maybe too?? who knows!! but let’s go to work!! . . . OCTOBER DUMP💩 Dude WTF!!! My heart is literally exploding- October owes me NOTHING. This isn’t even half of the photo and videos and events and chaos but here are some highlights 🥹 My October was full of nature, adventure, costumes, princess treatment, dancing, laughing MAD hard and ALIENS!!?! It was silly and goofy and a girl simply could dream of nothing better. I turned 30 this month and while I may not know what the future holds, when I look around at the people I got to spend it with, I know I have to be on the right path. It’s hard to believe one person could be so lucky and blessed- if you’re tagged in this post know that I love you SO bad. There’s no way I could post about October and being lucky beyond words without thanking @_chefkeys . This man -amidst work and other chaos- really planned a beautiful fall hiking & star gazing trip and then sneakily collaborated on an elaborate Alien themed birthday party ( my actual dream, see previous post lmao) with my baby girl @jchlb7 all in the same week. They say to be known is to be loved and I don’t think anyone has ever truly loved me like you, Brandon. The weeks have been flying and I feel like I’ve barely been able to express my gratitude but I hope you know you are the love of my literal life and I couldn’t be more thankful for you every single day. Thank you thank you thank you everyone for starting my new year with so much good energy despite such troubling times 🥹
