🥋 2026 FALL JIU-JITSU PROMOTIONS ⚔️ Congratulations to everyone who earned their promotions! Every stripe and every belt represents hours of hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and the commitment to keep showing up. Jiu-Jitsu is about more than learning how to fight. It’s about sharpening the sword — building character, developing discipline, strengthening the mind, and becoming a better version of yourself every single day. The journey never ends. Today was….a LOT! The girls did some of their best fighting today….all of our kids at @bordermartialartsacademy_ are getting better and stronger and we can see it when we have days like today. @flip_memphis had 7 fights and he won 6 of them 💪🏽💪🏽 @kristina_hunt got SECOND place in her very first competition!🥈🥈🥈 @skylarhunt had a birthday and his first competition as well! 🧁🧁🧁 And there were babies everywhere! There were friends and love and laughter everywhere. And then there was pizza. And now I’m passing out for the remainder of the night.

History made. 🏆 Our team stepped onto the mats at the 2026 IBJJF Brasileiro Championships and delivered in a way that will be remembered for a long time—1 Gold, 2 Bronze. But this is bigger than medals. This was the first time we’ve ever taken a team to Brazil—the birthplace of Jiu-Jitsu. First ones to go. First ones to test themselves on that stage. And they didn’t just show up… they proved they belong. I’m proud of these men not just for winning, but for the courage it took to go first. To step into the unknown. To represent something bigger than themselves. That’s leadership. That’s what it means to sharpen your sword. Understand this—being first is never easy. There’s no blueprint, no guarantees.
