Some snaps from Fresh Peaches this weekend @uwestga Visual Arts Building gallery & print studios! Great turnout!!! . Thank you everyone who made the journey out to Carrollton for the show - to all those who participated in the risograph collage workshop, especially @etcpressbooks for handling the actual printing on the risogrpah while I spent most of the time chatting it up and encouraging playful juxtapositions & experimentation! Some really fun & cool stuff was made by all ages & skills on Saturday & we got all the beautiful colors out!! . Special thanks to @warnockart for jurying this year’s show & taking that pressure off of me! Jasmin has gone full circle from the beginning of Fresh Peaches having participated in previous years, winning best in show last year to now jurying the show this year that celebrates students & emerging printmakers in Georgia! . Congratulations to 1st place @aylasarts 2nd place @oakeyepress 3rd place @river0nmars & Honorable Mention @sharpesharke as well to all 32 artists who had work in this show! I have loved seeing this grow each year with more applicants & better work - making it harder to showcase all the great printmaking happening in this peachy state! . Special thanks to Russ Clayton & Alice Glover for their generous donations & support of the arts that helped make a prize fund possible! . 👀 Looking for a venue for next year and to continue growing this awesome show! Know a place? Hit me up!! Hoping to also expand this to STUDENTS OF ALL SKILLS & AGES in the future - perhaps creating categories for the prizes. Fresh Peaches is not limited to college students! Primary, Secondary students, grad students, students of a workshop or community art class! I want to see all the amazing prints from all the voices across Georgia! . Lastly major thank you to @stephaniesmithart for offering UWG as a host, helping organize and to her, Cynthia and their team for hanging the show! Thank you thank you thank you! . Can’t wait for next year! Happy printing!!! . . . . #freshpeaches #printmaking #risograph #print #studentexhibition

We are excited to announce our third exhibition of 2026 ECHOES imagines a return shaped by interruption in response to En Masse, a printmaking exhibition that was cut short by a tragic fire. Rather than reconstructing what was lost, this exhibition leans into the nature of repetition as something that inevitably shifts, and where traces of the original are visible but are transformed by time, memory, and continuous practice. https://www.kailinart.com/news/echoes ECHOES exhibition Opening Friday May 1, 2026 7:00 - 10:00 PM free and open to the public MIXER Saturday, May 9 from 4-6pm Exhibition runs through May 15, 2026 The works embody the collective energy of the initial show while acknowledging rupture as part of their evolution. Echoes are not exact replicas. Instead, they distort and reconstruct the original sound that birthed them, leaving space for new meanings and interpretations. In printmaking, this shift emphasizes how each impression holds the potential of both continuation and change. Echoes invites viewers to consider what remains, what is reimagined, and how resilience takes form through making again. The Artists: Carolyn Monteilh, Cody Walraven, Greg Stone, Stephanie Kolpy, Bryan Baker, Sasha Schilbrack-Cole, Princess Simpson Rashid, Mallick Sakib Shifat, Hannah Adair, Jennifer Mack-Watkins, Stephanie Smith and Chloe Alexander.
