𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖.” 🏴‍☠️🩸 Meet Dëath, the dangerously irresistible monster pirate from BL00DTIDE, by @stephbarrosauthor ! 🖤 A dark paranormal romantasy where Pirates of the Caribbean meets The Little Mermaid, filled with forbidden desires, dangerous monsters, bloodlust, and a love that should never happen. A siren cursed to drown her true love finds herself captured by Dëath, a villainous pirate who steals souls and collects bones for his ship. The problem? He's her true love's older brother… and the monster she's beginning to crave. 🩸 I had SO much fun bringing this dangerously sexy pirate to life! Every detail was such a pleasure to illustrate, and I'm absolutely in love with the final result! 🥹❤️ Thank you, Stephanie, for trusting me with your character! 🩸 Eu me diverti DEMAIS dando vida a esse pirata perigosamente sexy! What’s up and what’s next? What’s up? Hellbound has been out for over a month! If you read it, please take a moment to leave a review somewhere! I’m still chewing drywall waiting for the green light to share a Hellbound secret. The other secret is probably going to remain a secret for a while, but it’s very cool. What’s next? I’m 90% done with the first draft of a novella that’s in a totally different genre than Hellbound (sci fi romance) because why not. I have two other WIPs on the back burner, and three events coming up in October and November. But when WoW Forever launches, I plan on dropping off the face of the earth. #authorlife Writing night at Thunderbird and missing @writerdcowley I’m also getting used to having four animals in my house. Signing Hellbound for Folly girls! Proof of life

Happy Latine Heritage month 🥹💗 Given this special time I want to introduce you guys to some special latine authors. Only 7% of writers are Latine. How insane is that? We are here and we will be heard! Take a look for your next TBR Addition. Each author was asked a question and this is how they answered🤍 #latineauthors #latineheritagemonth #latinos #writers #tbr “If you could tell your younger self something as the latine grown woman you are now, what would it be??” Mmmm Your culture isn’t something you need to make smaller so others can feel more comfortable. #alexislmunoz #withloveadolfo #sportsromancebooks #chicanaauthor #latineheritagemonth “What is something you learned in your journey as a latine writer that changed you completely?” To honor my own journey, my own cultura, my own lengua, my bilingual voice. Many of us arrive here from different spaces with similar accents but we need to honor our own voices and experiences My life as a Latine writer might have been different but we all speak the same lengua using own distinct voices. #adrianernestocepeda #colombianwriter #latineheritagemonth #poetry #tbr “What do you want to show people when they read your book?” Plus size girls deserve love! #plussize #contemporaryromancereads #cubanwriter #latineheritagemonth #tbr “What’s some advice you have for Latine book lovers?” Reading or writing take up space in the book world, just do it. Our cultures and traditions deserve to shown not only through our books but through the love our readers show when they talk about our books. It’s time for our stories and our writing to shine especially now during these hard times for our people. #authorximenadln #dᴀʀᴋrᴏᴍᴀɴᴄᴇ #latinlovers #latineheritagemonth #tbr “If you could tell your younger self something as the latine grown woman you are now, what would it be?” Stop being stubborn and learn to speak Spanish! You’ll be grateful later. #puertorican #darkromanceauthor #latineheritagemonth #dwilliams #tbr “If you could tell your younger self something as the latine grown woman you are now, what would it be??” ohhhh so you want me to cry? lol jk Don’t let go of your imagination. August, the month that you were. I became a published author, spent time with wonderful friends and family, and stopped to decompress when I could. I forgot to take pictures of the assembled audience on Hellbound launch night (add this to my list of regrets), but I’ll never forget it Now bring on the rain, I’m ready. #monthlyrecap

This silly goose is heading home with a heart ready to burst after a weekend filled with so much love! @stephbwrites, I am so incredibly privileged to know you and cannot adequately express how proud I am of you and HELLBOUND. A huge congratulations on your launch, I am impatiently awaiting your next book. Until then, the world gets to listen to me scream about you and your delightfully twisted tale. @stephbarrosauthor, thank you for giving me a place to crash and for being my f*cked up fairytale partner in crime. Counting down the days until I get to come back and scream about YOUR book (and get more Rookie snuggles)! @madethisforlu, thank you for being such a phenomenal agent and for bringing us all together. You're making the wild ride of publishing tolerable at its worst and such a joy at its peaks. Until next time, Portland ❤️
