🦇 Emma Pruss (she/her/they/them) is an actor, singer, dancer and also, tragically, Brisbane’s most famous bat. Having been thus far unsuccessful in escaping the feme fatale type-cast, Emma is giving up and doubling down! Just for you, she’s putting on a mini cabaret, for one night only! 📱Emmett (he/him)’s art explores his personal identity and experiences living and growing up in the city. Emmett is interested in urban environments, how they respond to and reflect on the people who inhabit them, and who participate in its transformation. Driven by interests in sociology, queer liberation, and disability justice, he draws on his intersecting identities to explore ideas about belonging, isolation, and connection in contemporary, local environments. 🌃

Her work often draws on the quiet magic found beneath the surface; shifting light, fleeting moments of wonder, and the emotional landscapes we carry through life. Each layer becomes a record of growth, resilience, and transformation, embracing the idea that beauty is found not in per

Happy World Environment Day!

Bribie Island is home to some of the most beautiful ecosystems in Queensland and today we celebrate them all. From wildflowers to shorebirds to our stunning coastline, every part of this island deserves our care.

Let’s protect what protects us.
