POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Before the Out of Grand Tetons conference began I was scouting the area with @stephjohnphoto and we were searching for areas to be creative. When I spotted these ripples from an outlet creek reflecting fall colors the fun began. It was enjoyable watching Stephanie be mesmerized by the motion of the water. At a quarter or a fifth of a second these ripples become like beautiful strands of gold/blue hair. After that, the @outofchicago conference began and we could pass along our creative ideas to others.

Part of the curriculum for @stephjohnphoto workshop last week was creating cyanotypes and incorporating them into our image creation process. This was a new and super fun experience and I definitely plan on doing more! Interestingly, the blue color (which is the final version) only comes out after you wash the image in cold water - who would have thought? 🤔🤣

Echoes

I’ve been following some great artists like @helmut.pilo @karenwallerphotography @stephjohnphoto @wendybagnall_ _ @markcornick some of the absolute best in the business that focus on ICM and abstract photography. From someone who’s usually locked off on a tripod……..I’ve found that expressing the story through shutter speed and camera movement is undeniably liberating.

`Off the beaten track`
In my book on creative photography I describe how I use textures to support my images. This one is a 'semi-product`. Orders for my English/Dutch full colour 148 page book can still be placed, I'm at the proofing stage now @ https://www.wimvanteeffelen.nl/book
