We love how our Vintage Magazine Challenge can inspire so much creativity! It’s great to see how artist’s interpret our magazines to create a fantastic series of collages! “I couldn’t resist reading the magazine from England in 1955. It felt like a different world, and it was fascinating to see the stories, advertisements, and everyday life. I was so thankful for the briefs because they gave something to focus on, otherwise, the material would have felt overwhelming.   This challenge was fun, as I got a glimpse of 1950s England, explored collages like the self-portrait I had been wanting to try, and the vintage edges gave me the right material. Responding to the character of the vintage paper and allowing the material to guide the work took a few weeks, but I think it was well worth the effort, and I think the finished collages have something new to say.” @stephr1000 Get involved yourself!
