Seriously my favorite Steps souvenirs I made myself. Perfect for the Halloween season, as well as for any future live concert tour perhaps?

Spooky season is in full swing. Better the Devil You Know.

The ULTIMATE one that got away 💚🧡💛❤️🩷

STEPing into Monday with an absolute BANGER and one of my alltime favorite Steps songs...Paradise Lost 🔆 😎 🍹 Taken from their 3rd album Buzz, this song just hits hard everytime, this album is FULL of potential hits that could have been and this one is top of the list. I remember hearing it for the first time and my first thoughts been that it reminded me of the music from Sonic The Hedgehog 😂🎶 🦔 (Kylie's Slow also does this to me to 😂). I have no doubt that this would have been a massive hit for the guys, and was so pleased to finally experience it live when they performed it on the Party on The Dancefloor Tour....talk about edging 😂 they kept up waiting long enough 😂 Hopefully it makes an appearance on the next tour mashed up with Summer Of Love 😍

Hope you guys like my little fanmade mock up, no copywrite intended 😂😂😂😂😂😂 just a fan looking to share the love 💕

So, I hadn't planned on this been my first @officialsteps post since restarting the page, but concidering that today (August 24th) marks the 28th anniversary year (I know right what the actual... 🤯) of One For Sorrow, I just had to make it work.

New followers the page will soon realise my Steps obsession and if you love the greatest pop group ever, then keep following as there is ALOT more great content to come 😊

So let's rewind to 1998 and little teeny bopper me finishing school on Monday and going straight to medowahall with my best friend and my pocket money to lay claim on my own physical CD copy that I overplayed MASSIVELY! - like seriously, I still have it and the cd is scratched to pieces from over use 😂 The poster went up on the wall and the volume was turned up as I danced around my bedroom with my finger in the air recreating the iconic dance routine - good times! 😍

It was the third single lifted from their iconic debut album, Step One and debuted/peaked at (2) which at the time was their highest charting single (Do not mention Manic Street Preachers infront of me 🤣) and spent an impressive 5 weeks inside the top 10!

A great week for new music I bought 3 new releases that week, along with this iconic anthem I also bought:
(5) Honeyz - Finally Found
(20) Truce - Eyes Don't Lie (Underatted tune!)

Released: 1998
UK Chart Peak: 2

I’m feeling a deeper shade of blue tonight. I did another video of the Thunderbird steps turning into their alter egos and back. I feel like I should have done this with the original post, but I think it looks amazing. I did my best to time the transitions with the music.

I hope you all have a great weekend! I love the video for this song.

I now have the three steps girlies as silhouettes, with this one of Claire based on a screenshot from the same music video.

I love doing these. Once again, it’s refreshing to do something completely different than typical portraits. This is always a lot of fun from the goodness of my heart.

I pulled another photo from @tozers_heart as a reference for doing a more close-up portrait of H and Lisa, who are the two members of the group from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

This one was exceptionally difficult to do with not a lot of wiggle room for a redo. Earlier in my sketching the proportions looked way off. Second reworking of the proportions looked a lot better and were solidified as part of the final piece. It was also a challenge to capture their likeness with the photo quality being a bit pixilated, so I did my best to figure out the fine details. My best is what’s truly special for both me as a huge fan, as well as for you all. Thanks so much again to tozers_heart for the photos that inspire my fan art. I truly appreciate it.

I hope you all enjoy this one as well, from the heart.

Here’s a commemorative piece I did for Words Are Not Enough after seeing @ultimatesteps post about its release.

I did this one after completing the drawing of Hilary Duff. For this drawing I used my imagination to convert the CGI versions of the Steps bandmates into my style. No references used for this one. These poses are completely original.

I’m glad I went with this direction instead of the original idea I had of converting them into Playmobil figures which didn’t really fit so I started over and this is the result.

I really love how this turned out. I hope you all enjoy!

Here it is. This is my original drawing of Intenso Lisa as she appears in the music video for Get It On.

There is one change though: the boots were included instead of the shoes because I love the pop aesthetic about them. This one follows the exact same style as the H & Claire drawing.

I’m proud of this one. I think I captured the look well.

Finally got around to doing a fan drawing of @ianhwatkins and @clairerichardsofficial as H & Claire in my completely original pose. A very belated 24th anniversary of the release of “DJ” which was first released on May 6, 2002.

It was well worth the wait. I didn’t want to just simply copy any of the original promotional material or album artwork. I wanted to create my own original piece.

Here it is. It’s from the heart. I hope you all enjoy.

Another Steps merfolk piece to brighten everyone’s Monday. It’s more simple, but it still comes from the heart. The whole picture as a tribute to One for Sorrow.

I’ve been in the mermood swing of things recently. I hope you all enjoy!

Another piece for Hard 2 Forget, but as a model sheet where I took them as they appear in the album cover and simplified their designs for an animated series format.

For this exercise, it’s about drawing loose. Really having a conversation with the paper and just letting the gestures run free so the drawing doesn’t feel stiff. This was a problem for me in university where my drawings looked rigid. As I do more of these, the better I get at drawing loose.

I hope you all enjoy this one!
