Hark, Stetson University Hatters! 📣

In collaboration with @touchstonelitart and as the culmination of my Poetic Literacy research project for an @stetsonhonors methodology class, I will be hosting Poetry in Palm Court this Friday, April 25th, from 10:30am to 12:30pm in Palm Court (…obviously).

Do dilly dally and write blackout poetry, peruse the 2025 edition of Touchstone Literary Arts Journal (happy Touchstone 2025 Release!!!), put a custom typewriter poem in your pocket (written by yours truly), and celebrate poetic literacy in Palm Court in honor of National Poetry Month! 📝

Thank you to all the sonnet-minded souls helping me host this event. Fellow Hatters, I hope to see you there!

We are honored to have welcomed Seminole artist Corrine Zepeda for a thought-provoking conversation today. Corrine shared her journey of weaving Indigenous traditions, spirituality, and resistant politics into her art, which has been featured in places like the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art. Her blend of traditional techniques, like beadwork and textiles, with modern social issues opens a unique space for dialogue and reflection. Thank you, Corrine, for sharing your vision and providing a much needed space of reflection. 🌿 #IndigenousArt #VisualStorytelling #CorrineZepeda

Happy New Academic Year 2024! ✨ We are so thankful to begin our 8th Fall semester at Stetson University together. We started the year performing two pianos, and we’re looking forward to a world of shared experiences to come.
